I was deliberately lied to about needing repairs on parts that were absolutely fine. Like my drive belt, for instance, which only has 30,000 miles on it. I was told it was dangerous and needed to be changed that were absolutely fine. Like my drive belt, for instance, which only has 30,000 miles on it. I was told it was dangerous and needed to be changed immediately for $385. I asked someone to come out to the car and show me why the belt needed to be changed. "Hmm looks fine, must've been a mistake." Right. Oh i need new tires also? Oh the tread is at 2? Ok let's look there also. Oh your mistake again, my tires are completely fine like my drive belt you say? I will never get my car serviced here again. Now I have to get my car checked just to see if you guys actually did the work i paid you to do. If you think I'm too stupid to remember when i changed my tires and drive belt last, there's no reason to assume you think I'm smart enough to bother questioning anything else either. Kia should be trustable. I feel like I just visited a bad part of town and got played by some grimy, pathetically needy & shady street junkie. Disgusting business practice. Never going here again, and making sure everyone knows. More
Spent a lot of money for a 60,000 service. Car not cleaned or washed. Was hoping for a better feeling after the experience. Four days later my battery died, conspiracy theory. The porter was very sweet and Dean is always a pleasure during every visit. This was my first ti.e visiting Sunset Kia in Auburn.. Took my Suzuki in for a recall repair and requested an oil change and installation of my new fuel door cable. Dean said the cable would be an hour's Took my Suzuki in for a recall repair and requested an oil change and installation of my new fuel door cable. Dean said the cable would be an hour's worth of work at $159.00 plus the oil change. He said they would need the car overnight. 1) 3 days later, they call me at 4pm to say the car is ready. 2) The cable took longer than an hour and cost $185.00. They never called to say it would be higher than the estimate. 3) I told the tech who took me to my car that I had 2 friends check my tires and they both said they were low. The tech said their techs should have checked the tires so he assumed they did (no tire pressures were noted on the receipt- Toyota always prints out the tire pressures and remaining brake pads). The tech just took a look at the tires and said they looked good. I expected him to check them with a gage. 4) While my car was with this dealer/service for 4 days/3nights, they changed all my set radio stations to Hip-hop. 5) Toyota always offers a complimentary car wash and vacuum. Nothing here. More
