My wife and I are Costco members and decided to try the Auto Program out, which sent us here. Right from the start, Lisa, was reaching out via text, and very nice/not pushy. I wanted to go test drive a couple trim levels and check out the difference between the two motors. So called the dealer and Patty answered, and was one of the best experiences I have had talking with a receptionist. She was so happy, polite, and full of joy. Lisa was not in, so Sean took care of me from this point on. From start to finish, he was extremely polite, knew the product very well (was only unable to answer one question which he quickly found out the answer for me), and most importantly continued to show my wife and I the utmost respect. Even after he had made the sale, he continued to be a class act. His relaxed and personable demeanor made him very easy to talk to and deal with. Adam did the finances, and he fit into everything stated above. He was not pushy trying to sell different packages or continue to tell you stories about how this package saved him because he has horrible luck. He explained what they were, what they covered, and answered any questions we had about them. From start to finish the whole experience at Webster Groves Subaru was incredible and they might have made themselves a life long customer now. The only negative thing to say, the parking lot is bad, and kind of scary at times. It's small and very tight. With that being said, they will be moving to a bigger lot in the next year or so. Only suggestion, come up with an area/field for people to test out the X-Mode. More
Jim was a refreshing straight shooter but also listened and took care of the needs that I had. As a woman on her own he wasn't pushy and understood how crappy we can get treated when car shopping. He was open and honest about other cars I wanted to look at. He gave me honest opinions on the Subaru vs Honda or Toyotas like it. He understood when I wanted to go elsewhere and test drive them before coming to a decision. And when I did decide to go Subaru, he helped me through the beginning of the paperwork process with care and explanations along the way. However, I had an appointment for 1:30pm to pick up my new car. It was a Wednesday. I figured it wouldn't be too busy in the middle of the day. I was wrong. Seems even though I had an appointment, every finance officer was in a meeting when I arrived. No one spoke to me for two hours. It took until 5pm to wrap everything up and all I was doing was buying it. I'd already picked it out and test driven it. I watched as new Subaru owners, buying new cars, were swept through and felt as though because I was buying used I wasn't as significant. By the time I was done and needed to clean out the car I traded in, I didn't have the energy. I was so mentally exhausted and had missed 3.5 hours of work I just wanted to go home and crash. I couldn't even get excited about having a new car. All in all, it was a good experience to find the right car and I wouldn't change that. I love my new car. However, I feel the finance department could use an overhaul. More
Pathetic Customer Service I bought a 2015 Toyota Corolla from Webster Groves Subaru on the 30th of December 2019. Within a month of driving the left axle of the car was making I bought a 2015 Toyota Corolla from Webster Groves Subaru on the 30th of December 2019. Within a month of driving the left axle of the car was making a horrible noise, which I reported to the dealership. This inquiry was horribly treated and was outright shunned by the management claiming that the axle wasn't touching the oil and hence its not their responsibility- BS! The axle is leaking the oil-how's it not a defect! The management's attitude was pathetic and it was a painful experience to talk to them. A horrible customer service awaits anyone who purchases a car from here. Not recommending it to anyone! More
