We brought our F-150 King Ranch in for service. We were experiencing vibration with the brakes. We just purchased this vehicle from the Dealership last March. We had to make arrangements to drop the vehicle off on a Friday and my husband was provided an Uber to work. We then picked up the Truck on Monday and drove it home. On the freeway my husband experienced the vibration again. We called and had to make arrangements again to bring it in. My husband did a test driver with the Tech and they were able to feel the same vibration we brought it in for. The Service mgr stated it wasn't done correctly so we had to leave it again. This put us out of a vehicle and caused a real inconvenience for both my wife and I to get to and from work. The work needed to be done so we figured out alternative transportation. It was to be completed on Tuesday but it wasn't. No communication until it was too late for me to get out there before work. The part didn't come in so it was going to be another day. I had to take my wife's car luckily she had a day off. My wife had to find a ride to work on Wed since I needed her car. We finally received notification after we reached out again to find out when the vehicle would be ready for pickup. I had to book a Lyft out to Sumner since I had no one available to take me. This was an inconvenience and expense I wasn't expecting. This experience has been frustrating and the lack of communication was very disappointing the cost due to the mistake made the first time and then being charged more than the original quote I was given. This experience with the Service Department has not been a positive one. I am not sure I will be returning for service in the future. More
This was my first visit to Sunset Ford and was impressed. They are very responsive to customer needs with great follow up. Very friendly staff. Convenient in and out for service. I brought my low mile truck in for an oil change and it came back to me with an oil leak, so I took it to another shop and they said that someone loosened and removed bolts causing oil feed tube to leak fr came back to me with an oil leak, so I took it to another shop and they said that someone loosened and removed bolts causing oil feed tube to leak from the side of TIMC, I had to pay sunset 300.00 to diagnose a problem that did not exist until they had it in there shop. The damage to repair what they did cost me $1,413.97, I do not recommend this shop to anyone, and they will never get my business again. More
I've purchased four cars in as many years from Sunset Ford, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. This incident has seriously undermined my confidence in their ability to handle even the most basic tasks correctly; as of yet they have failed to make things right.
