Had check engine light come on. After reading codes it needed fuel control module. Had Sunset install new module and program it. When picking up the check engine light was on. They said they did a needed fuel control module. Had Sunset install new module and program it. When picking up the check engine light was on. They said they did a test drive but but turned it back over to me with light on. When I ask about that they said we did what you ask. When I ask if fuel pressure was checked they said you did ask for that. Sunset didn't go out of there way at all. That's also the experience I've had on other service work I've had done. Mechanics seem to do extremely good work. No issues with anything they have done over the years. My biggest complaint has to do with the service writers. Everything starts out well with communication but qu anything they have done over the years. My biggest complaint has to do with the service writers. Everything starts out well with communication but quickly goes downhill. There has been a lack of communication from them every time I’ve taken our vehicles to them. I try to be patient because I too work in a similar environment. But when I go days without any information or a heads up of an issue I start to reach out and try to find out a status. Many times I’m told that I will get a phone call back from them and it will be nothing for another day or two. It’s pretty crazy that there is such a lack of communication. It’s to the point where I now shop around for dealers and have to base my repair work on who may be the fastest and closest to where I live. Unfortunately Sunset Chevrolet is low on my list of where I want to take my vehicles to. Like I’ve said, me mechanics have been great, service writer communication is greatly lacking. More
