I recently purchased a 2013 Passat while working with Donell Richardson. Donell is by far the BEST salesperson I have ever dealt with. He was also very knowledgable about the car. He went over the whole car and all of its features, even how to operate them. Arthur Is the only reason I purchased my new Golf at sunrise VW. He knows exactly what the car is worth on the market and the price he offered me was EXACTLY what i was willing to pay. Once we agreed on the price we went over all the paper work and he made sure the experience was excellent. His communication will I waited for the car to be delivered was timely and polite. When I went to pick up the car he sat and explained to me anything i wanted to know, made sure it was clean (he even cleaned the window that had a little sticker residue still left on it). I have had the car for almost two years and when I dropped the car off for service a year later he remember me, talked with me about how my car is performing and made sure I was being helped. More
I brought my still under warranty 2008 beetle in to repair brakes. When driving it home from dealer after a whole week in their possession I noticed EPC light on. I returned to dealer who told me that repair brakes. When driving it home from dealer after a whole week in their possession I noticed EPC light on. I returned to dealer who told me that it was on due to an "after market " part being installed and they refused to fix it at that point. Seven months ago I had a remote start installed with never any problems. I did not bring the car in initially with that light on it was only after THEY serviced it that it was on. I brought it back to the shop where remote start was installed and he proved it was not his doing by disconnecting the only wire he installed to the system and doing a diagnostic code test on it. The EPC light was still on when I attempted to drive it home. He called them and told them I was coming back to have my car fixed and it was obviously because of the work they just did and not his "after market" part.It was only after he called that they were then willing to service my car. I intend to file a formal complaint with the FTC. I should not have been given the runaround and my car should have been fixed without a hassle. I am totally unsatisfied with the service I received and will not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
We had an issue with the lease. After we expressed our dissatisfaction to the dealership, they contacted us and settled the issue to our complete satisfaction. They obviously value their customers and wan dissatisfaction to the dealership, they contacted us and settled the issue to our complete satisfaction. I spoke w/a sales agent who told me to come in on a Saturday afternoon. He was with a customer when I arrived. I waited an hour and a half. Yes, an hour and a half. The agent walked by me multiple time Saturday afternoon. He was with a customer when I arrived. I waited an hour and a half. Yes, an hour and a half. The agent walked by me multiple times, completely ignored me and not once gave me an update of when he could meet with me. Worse, he never apologized. Absolutely unacceptable and I should have left. Mike and Arthur were kind in conversing with me and offered me coffee. But I finally had to ask if another agent could help me with a sale. Donell was great to jump in. I recommend working with him. Unfortunately, because I had wasted so much time waiting and was now late for dinner reservations, we were rushed. But more than anything else I realized I just didn't want to give this dealership my business after such terrible customer service. This would have been my third VW, my family's fourth. I want to work with a dealership that appreciates its customers. So the only recommendation I can offer is working with Donell. He really tried to improve upon a bad experience and give me the best offer. But again, I really want to work with a dealership that appreciates its customers. Not an hour and a half later but the moment they walk in the door. More
Great Price,and the Service was outstanding.The no money down lease deal on my Jetta was the best i coud find on any make car.The Salesman picked me up and drove me to showroom and then home after the Hurri down lease deal on my Jetta was the best i coud find on any make car.The Salesman picked me up and drove me to showroom and then home after the Hurricane destroyed my car.The sales manager also went out of his way as well to help us with our purchase.The Car is a great product and Im very satisfied.My Wife and Best friend also leased new Vws on my reccomendation and they are also very Happy. Sales person Jovon Windley was doing great job with matching the price and providing the best service. However, Financial manager Lenny Orlov is a great master to full you off. First he managed to sell me extended warranty for $ 2700 which as he said should cover of everything might happened to the car withing next 5 years. Even more if something would have happened to the car that VW will reimburse me with 7K plus what ever insurance will send the check for. When Hurricane Sandy hit NY my car was flooded and recognized as a total lost. As i contacted extended warranty their statement was that they don't cover water damage. Lenny Orlov never cared to answer my calls as I was leaving him tons of vm.... Then i did some research and found out that i can get a refund for extended warranty as the car was total. Extended warranty rep was kind enough to let me know that all of the paper work i've submitted went through ok and the money went back to the dealership and they should send the check over to me as the car has been payed off by insurance. It has been more than 3 month already as I am hitting my head to the wall by contacting Lenny Orlov and Carlos Cgirard General Manager to have this issue resolved and nothing so far. I've also contacted main VW office. At this time the case has been raised over to VW Regional Case Manager and i am not sure if that would help me. Just make sure if you are buying anything from VW Sunrise keep away from Mr. Orlov and don't get hooked on extended warranty it is nothing but waste of money!!!! Today is 1/16/2013 and i finally got my check. I was refunded 2600 sales tax has not been added, but I am tired from all of this so i just want to call it a day. With that I want to say thank you to the VW main customer office who helped me resolve it. More
Beware. They sold me a car with wheel locks but no key for them when I contacted them they gave me the run- around for weeks and finally told me that I have to buy new ones and the removal of old ones is for them when I contacted them they gave me the run- around for weeks and finally told me that I have to buy new ones and the removal of old ones is $150.
