Problem resolution I bought a CPO Tiguan 6 months ago, which had a faint odor on delivery that I attributed to the pre-delivery detailing. However, as the weather got w I bought a CPO Tiguan 6 months ago, which had a faint odor on delivery that I attributed to the pre-delivery detailing. However, as the weather got warmer, the smell became so intolerable that I couldn't use the car. The dealership readily acknowledged the smell, and, with the guidance of the service manager, shampooing, steam cleaning, and a Dakota bomb were tried, to no avail. I then met with one of the managers who, much to my pleasant surprise, offered to swap my car for another one. I met with the general manager yesterday. He offered to give me what I paid for the car 6 months ago. There was no discussion of depreciation or additional mileage put on the car. I told him that I saw a car on the internet that I was interested in. He sold me that car for the internet price. In all my years of buying cars, I have never dealt with a dealership like Sunrise VW. The salesman, service manager, sales manager, and general manager were so understanding and reassured me that they would resolve the problem, and they did! From the first time that I discussed the problem with the service manager to the final meeting with the general manager, no one tried to deny that there was a problem, or say that it was my sensitivity to odors that was the problem, not the horrendous cherry smell in the car. My experience with the Sunrise VW staff was truly unique in my car buying history. Without hesitation, I would strongly recommend Sunrise VW to anyone looking for a VW product. The attitude of their personnel to satisfy the client is paramount, and runs through the entire dealership, something I have never experienced before. Michael G. More

The Randy Experience I arrived at the dealership early on a Sunday; one hour before they opened. That in itself was a pleasant experience. What a gentleman. I told him what I had in mind and he took the time to walk us around and show me what was good for my son. Once the dealership opened he took us out on a test drive and spoke with me as a father to a father. I got a good offer on a lease, affordable.
