I ordered a new car from them using "True Car Guaranteed Pricing". Eight weeks later they call me and tell me my car is in. I went to pick it up and the True car pricing was higher than the email Guaranteed Pricing". Eight weeks later they call me and tell me my car is in. I went to pick it up and the True car pricing was higher than the email they had sent me when I ordered the car and they had added an alarm and some security stickers to the car which added another $990 to the price. I asked them to remove the alarm and stickers and they said they would have to charge me to remove them. We settled on a price about $750 more than we had agreed to when I ordered the car and I had to remove the alarm myself. I wanted to walk but I had already sold my old car and had waited eight weeks for the car that I wanted. Beware of "bait and switch" and "dealer fluff" add ons. Do not accept their word, get everything in writing. More
My family has just purchased another Ford (we buy american only). In both purchases, Sunrise Ford and their staff have been very helpful, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I see a lot of bad revi american only). In both purchases, Sunrise Ford and their staff have been very helpful, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I see a lot of bad reviews on here, but none of them have complete details with regards to actual problems, and also seem to lack some understanding. Being in NoHo, Sunrise doesn't have a very good location. They have a huge selection, and have a full service shop in the back. Buying a car should be fun, and I always feel like AJ and his staff really make it fun for the buyer and their family. More

I wanted the base package, but the extremely pushy salesman convinced me to get the sport package because of the "awesome features." Without my asking, he snuck out to another location to get me the car of my dreams (ha). Then he told me there was no other car in the area like the one I was asking for. Since my wife and I had been there over 5 hours by that point, I said fine and took the car. In just over 4 months, I have had to bring it in for repair FIVE times, four of which were for the same issue. Then another time for a meeting with their customer service manager. In total, that makes five trips there to drop the car off, five trips back to pick it up. Every time I left, the issue was either not fixed or, even better, it was fixed but something ELSE was broken! I had to take time off work, work late to make up hours, skip lunches, beg rides from friends, etc. A major hassle just to get something I'm already paying for. Fine. All cars have bugs. I get that. But each time I brought it in, I was told by the "experts" there that I was wrong, everything was fine, it was in my head, there's nothing we can do about that (one of them, John, even yelled at me when I asked him to listen and stop just telling me what ISN'T wrong with the car - he's a real peach). It took a special meeting with the customer service manager (who is great, Sally Press is her name) and my demands to see the foreman to finally be heard. After 3 minutes with him, he confirmed there was indeed a huge problem. They gave me a rental and a few days later, it was fixed... but the window is now malfunctioning. I swear, I feel like they're just screwing with me on purpose or something. And each time they work on your car, you're given a survey and told that if you don't give them top scores in every area, they'll get in trouble and face disciplinary action. Even my Italian grandmother couldn't guilt trip like that. When I expressed my concerns to the sales manager (Ron St. John, I feel like I should mention you by name) I was offered 3 full tanks of gas to make up for the inconvenience. Fine, sounds good. However, to get those fillups, I would have to stop by, find him, and ask for a voucher. Then I could go to a nearby station and get the gas. So I had to stop by, hope he's working, wait for him to finish whatever he's doing, then ask him if I can please have my voucher like I'm asking for a hall pass to use the bathroom. That... wasn't gonna work for me. Luckily Sally stepped in at that point and gave me 3 free details and fillups, to which Mr. St. John rolled his eyes and said, "Fine. We'll have someone else take your car to the gas station for you." That's right, Mr. St. John. That's exactly what you'll do. In short (little late for that I guess), avoid this place like the plague. The car dealer stereotypes of sleazy, pushy salesmen, liars, incompetence, laziness, and just overall contempt for the buyer are all alive and well at Sunrise Ford. Do yourself a favor and strap a few flashlights to a shopping cart instead. At least when that malfunctions, you won't feel so bad about shelling out hundreds of dollars every month for it. Ugh. I can't wait for this lease to run its course so I can shove this car right back up their tailpipes. ps - I should also mention that after trip number 3, I asked the repair technician (the peach) why, if they are constantly having these issues with the cars as I kept hearing from him, don't they inform the customer of these issues at the time of purchase? He told me, "Well if they'd told you that at the beginning, you'd have gone and gotten a Toyota instead!" Ah, the joys of honest dishonesty. More

I went to Sunrise Ford looking for a new Focus and was very pleased to find that they had the exact car I was looking for. After shopping around at other dealers and getting frustrated with all the games very pleased to find that they had the exact car I was looking for. After shopping around at other dealers and getting frustrated with all the games and nonsense that seems to be the normal when shopping for a car, the salesperson (Ron) at Sunrise Ford was straightforward, honest, made the price I was paying for the car easy to understand, and had the car I wanted. They made the whole experience very pleasant. After the transaction was complete, the manager came out to where we were programming my cellphone into the car and made sure everything was ok, which was a nice touch. Kudos to Sunrise Ford. I have already recommended my sister to go to sunrise when shes ready to get a new car. Thanks More
I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership in the last 10 years. I went in to trade my car in and look at some lease deals. I thought for sure this dealer would give me the best deal considering my l last 10 years. I went in to trade my car in and look at some lease deals. I thought for sure this dealer would give me the best deal considering my loyalty to this dealership. I couldn't have been more WRONG!!! The actual sales guy I worked with was AWESOME! He was very patient, showed me everything I wanted to see, and just let me compare the 3 cars I was looking at. I would highly recommend him as a sales person. However, as soon as he had to turn it over to the finance guys, everything went out the door. They brought numbers to me that were outrageous saying that I was crazy to think I could walk out with this vehicle for less. I have amazing credit, and they said the lowest percentage Ford was offering was 5.99%. If I had been a rookie car purchaser, they might have sold me a car with everything they were telling me, but luckily I know when I am being scammed. I saw an ad in the paper a few days later at a different dealership which convinced me to call them. Not only did they give me numbers on a vehicle over the phone without asking for my salary info, but they were not pushy! Within 10 minutes, they had offered me a deal on an equivalent vehicle that was $300 less per month than what Sunrise had offered me (1.9% rate). I even called Sunrise to tell them about the deal, and they still couldn't come up with even close to the same deal. I now have a brand new vehicle from a different Ford dealership that I had no previous relationship with, but will have my business from now on. Unbelievable!! More

Also had a small issue with hesitation at low end so they performed an "inspection" at an additional $140. They advised this was due in part to a sticking throttle body which I was advised needed replacing at $600+. (after bringing the car home and cleaning out the throttle body. The car runs fine.} They never inspected the throttle body. 2. Upon picking up my truck, there was now a large crack running down the windshield. Service advisor said this was likely due to the dealership putting cold water on the windshield when they washed the car after service. Said they would fix it and said he would call me by Tuesday to advise on repair. 3. Called Friday as I had not heard from them. Said they would put in a used windshield. Said this will not do as my windshield is in perfect condition and I am not taking anything that is not in perfect condition, cannot be guaranteed, and has come from a wrecked vehicle. This also goes against Ford replacement standards. 4. Said to bring car down for the service manager to inspect. Went today and service manager left slightly early. (Side note: As another service person, Sean was insulting another customer saying they don't make the vehicles, Ford does, therefore they are not responsible, I chimed in telling him that was ludicrous and he informed me I am not part of the conversation. Seems to fit in with the general culture there. 5. Was directed to another young lady who was nice enough, but again I informed her I would not be accepting anything less than a new windshield. Said she would have Mike the service manager call me. 6. NOTE: If they refuse to install a new OEM windshield by a reputable installer to factory specs, I will File suit immediately and post a link to a copy of it and the judgement here and at every other major review site. This in addition to letters to Ford and other local business organizations and consumer boards that could possibly affect their business. My business associates are on the Toluca Lake Chamber Board and we are affiliated with all of the local studios. Now My Opinion: As of now, I would highly recommend service or vehicle purchase at another dealership. To remain impartial I will not give names, but there are a couple of other good dealerships in other areas of the valley. Even if you have to pay a little more, go somehwere else. I have yet to speak with the service manager, but will update here after I do. This review will have a few chapters or updates. Against my better judgement I went here out of convenience. I usually go to another dealership that is outstanding. There are several negative reviews, and though maybe not well articulated, they seem to be accurate. They defintely have some bad element here and it is so void of basic customer service as to insult the intelligence of most people More
Don't waste your time. Maybe it's because I wanted a used car but who knows. So the online price for a 2007 Explorer with 45,000 miles was $15,994. Good price, certified so my fiance and I drove from LAX to check it out. Rep who I spoke to on phone had left for the day so another nice man helped me. The car was filthy inside and out, broken head light, step guard broke, interior ragged, balding tires, change oil light on, candy rappers in car. So I was not interested and began to leave, rep asked if I would at least drive it so I had something to compare to if I found another. So I did and when I came back Chris (manager) said "take the car tonight I will drop the price 1000, and give me wanted I wanted for my trade" I said " let me sleep on it and if I decide to move forward have the car detailed and what not. I came back the next day and the whole deal changed, (car was not detailed they said steam cleaner broke)Chris went back on his word and they tried to screw me over. He said things like "if I could get a 1000 off I would, I never said I could". So the whole thing was to get me back and try to xxxx me. I have good credit and the best these idiots could do for a 15,994 car was 399.00 for 72 months. LMAO thats almost 30,000. I left fast and went to Parkway in Valencia. Found a cherry 2007 Explorer 14,994 45,000 miles full platinum warrant 60 months 349 a month. I like my new used car. More
