I was working on a house we are preparing to move into in Port Saint Lucie when a service light showed on my dash and my Ford app reported a problem with the transmission. I dropped off my truck and no loaner vehicle was available. Christina, my service agent arranged for an ride back to the house. A day later I ask for a loaner because I was at a house with no furniture or food (and communicated that to her) and was texted that she'll check on a loaner. That was after she told me the part was on back order and suggested I drive my truck back to Youngstown, FL. and have it fixed there.. I looked up the faulty part and texted her back that it could be dangerous to drive with that faulty part. Around noon the 2nd day, I paid for an Uber and went to, Stephen, the service manager who arranged for a rental. I drove back home, almost 500 miles and returned when I got a text two days later saying the truck was ready. Surprised, I left that day and drove the almost 500 miles back. When I picked up the truck, the lady who processes completed work said there was no paperwork under my name and went to get Christina. Christina showed up and said she couldn't give me an invoice until the rental bill was received. I offered my copy and she said she had to get it from Enterprise. Then, I got into my truck and began to drive almost 500 miles back to Youngstown, FL with a truck that still have problems similar to why I dropped it off in the 1st place. Without an invoice, I felt cheated and contacted Ford HQ and filed a complaint. Two days of driving, the cost of fuel, the cost of being away from home, putting 500 miles on my new truck with a faulty transmission module and the aggravation of it all upset me. I've bought 3 Fords over the last 16 years and if I can drive when I'm 80, I'll buy 3-4 more if you just help me fix my truck and reimburse me for my time; and not make me feel like I've inconvenienced your service department. Excellent Customer service, very surprised I was taken care off on the same day. Jeniffer at service desk was amazing staff , she collected word for word to analyze the situation then with the highly exp care off on the same day.
