Crooks which seem to prey on the elderly Avoid at all costs!!! My parents, which are each 90 years old m, went there with the car they had purchased from Sunrise two years ago, for a state inspection . T costs!!! The car had 6000 miles, no issues and was perfectly maintained After being serviced, my parents were told battery had been disconnected resulting in a check engine error. The inspection could not be completed because it required the car be driven 200 miles first which Sunrise would perform for five hundred dollars My parents paid for an incomplete service and left dealership. Obviously Sunrise has lost a customer and an opportunity to make a tidy profit flipping a trade-in in future! More
I have a 2020 Equinox, they scratched my car on Monday, April 4, 2022, then I brought it back for something else on or around on Tuesday, May 12, 2022 & the scratched it again, I spoke to the Manager, Domi April 4, 2022, then I brought it back for something else on or around on Tuesday, May 12, 2022 & the scratched it again, I spoke to the Manager, Dominik Tolstykh & to John Service Manager about the problem, the Manager suggested that he'll send to Employees to my Apt in Long Island, they would take the car to the dealer then to the Body Shop. The first time I had to Pay out of Pocket for the Loaner from Enterprise & wait 2 to 3 months before I got my money back. Now the Body Shop said that it will take 2 to 3 days, the dealer won't give me a loaner, He's very nasty & doesn't know how to talk to customer & John the Service Manager doesn't care about the customer, he'll do what the Manager tells him. IF YOU DECIDE TO BUY OT LEASE DON'T GO TO SUNRISE CHEVROLET THE PEOPLE WHO CHECK YOU CAR IN ARE VERY PLEASAND, INSTEAD GO TO MILLINIUM CHEVROLET IN HEMPSTEAD.I WILL NEVER GO TO SUNRISE. This dealership are crooks. I bought a 2011 equinox that had a bad water pump. Bad ac compressor. Huge exhaust leak. And bad tires in the front. Chris the sales me told me all issues would be repaired. Car was 11000. After paper work car went up to 18000. When we went to pick car it was not ready. We waited 5 hours only for Chris the sales man to come out and say it was not ready and they would deliver it to us. When the car arrived nothing was repaired but noticed it had a new inspection sticker on it not understanding how it could pass inspection. With a huge exhaust leak and bad tires. When called dealer I was told they do not know what I was talking about. I have left messages and no one will return call. This dealership are crooks and will rob you blind then wash there hands of you after you leave. I reported this dealer to the BBB and to motor vehicle for false inspection. I will also contact the AG of need be. I will continue to write bad reviews about sunrise until I get a response. Chris and Russell the dealership manager are both thieves. The entire car buying experience was a nightmare! Called ahead and emailed dealership Friday that we would be down on Saturday from almost 2 hrs. away to look at a 2020 Cadillac XT6 and when we arriv Called ahead and emailed dealership Friday that we would be down on Saturday from almost 2 hrs. away to look at a 2020 Cadillac XT6 and when we arrived our salesman was nowhere around we ended up with a different salesman which took a while to find the car and then the car was on the roof w/about 30 cars in front of it therefore we had to come back the next day just to test drive it; Sunday. Before the test drive we were told the car had a large hole in the leather on the dashboard which we were reassured would be taken care of. On the day of the test drive the interior was very dirty and after the test drive we noticed the tires were almost at the point of not being able to pass inspection and again we were reassured we would get 4 brand new tires. So now we were on our 3rd trip back to the dealer on Monday to complete the paperwork and give the more than 1/2 of the cost of the vehicle as a down payment. We were once again reassured all issues would be taken care of only now we would have to pay for 2 of the tires they would only replace the 2 front tires (that's not what they told us after the test drive) but the car would be delivered to us to avoid yet a 4th trip to the dealership so okay we move forward anyway and pay for 2 of the tires. Now Wednesday after not hearing any updates I call the dealership to find out the hole has not been addressed yet and the tires were just ordered; only to get a call back saying their leather guy was on vacation and they were working on a solution to get the hole on the dashboard fixed. Long story short they ended up finding a place to get the hole fixed by Saturday and informed us we could pick up the vehicle Saturday @ 12pm. On our 4th trip to the dealership to pick up the vehicle we find the vehicle is still dirty inside (with a lot of air freshener sprayed to smell good), the sunroof was left open, there was bird feces on the seat and had a crack in the windshield. Everyone; 2 general managers (Dominic & Anthony) & our salesman came to look at the issues making comments about needing better detailers and looking at the windshield but without rectifying the situation. Finally, I was losing my patience as we were waiting over 1 hr. just to get the temporary registration sticker on the windshield I had to ask for a cloth to clean as least the bird feces off the seat and the air freshener overspray off of the headrests. We were again reassured they would send someone to us to fix the windshield and promised to mail us a detailing voucher. Well as the story goes I had to call for an update AGAIN and was told someone would get back to me. The proceeded to send me the information to make an appointment with Safelite to fix the windshield and I was informed I needed to pay for the repair as well but will be reimbursed; again, now that's not what they said when I picked up the vehicle. It's been 5 days since we picked up the vehicle I still have not received the detailing voucher and the windshield is scheduled to be fixed tomorrow so fingers crossed I at least get reimbursed for it. Last but not least don't let the finance manager tell you the phone number on the wall is the owner's direct phone number for any issues; trust me it is just a regular complaint line which you do not receive a response from as you can imagine I've called. Although this seems like a lot of details trust me there were many conversations etc. I’ve left out just not to bore you...lol. More
I have needed 3 service calls in the last few months. My service advisor ,MARTIN, made sure all was perfect. I mean repairs and getting the car back to me AHEAD of when promised. worst dealer! I bought my 2016 Malibu new here and always had my service done here as well. I had an issue in September, my car would not start and had a service Stabilitrak code come up. I had the car towed to the dealership and asked that everything be checked out fully since my warranty was up at the end of September. They charged my battery and told me everything was fine. By the way, this is the new battery I purchased there in March. Two weeks ago I had the same issue, called and explained my issues to the woman who answered the phone and was told my service advisor would return my call. I am still waiting. I have been on some Chevy forums where several people have complained about the same issue. There is obviously a problem, but apparently they can't be bothered calling me back or finding out what the issue is. I used to be a satisfied customer, not anymore! I will not bring my car back there again and will never again recommend this dealership. Everything was okay until they were sold. More
