I caution anyone wanting to buy from this dealership. Very dishonest and you cannot trust anything they promise you. I put $5000 deposit down for the first allocation of a Corvette Z06 more than a year Very dishonest and you cannot trust anything they promise you. I put $5000 deposit down for the first allocation of a Corvette Z06 more than a year ago. The signed contract with my deposit clearly states that I will be the first person to get the car if and when they get their first allocation. This was black and white on the contract and receipt of deposit AND confirmed by the GM. New GM joins the dealership and I made sure to introduce my self and he confirmed that I will be the first person to get the allocation when it comes in. I check in with them almost every month by stopping in to get the latest. My most recent visit in late Feb was a huge surprise (in a bad way). I knew that Z06 were being delivered and went into the dealership asking with hope of new allocation. I normally talk to the GM (Dominick) but he was off so I spoke to another salesman. He tells me that the dealership has one allocation and an order was placed with production. It should be here in next 2-3 months. I was a bit surprised as I would have been notified to confirm my configuration. I called the GM (Dominick) immediately on his cell phone and his response was “oh, no one told you? You cannot get the allocation and we are refunding you $5000 deposit. The owner of the dealership wants to keep the car for himself”. This happened after they kept my $5000 deposit for more than a year, my continuous engagement with them every 1-2 months and when they finally get an allocation, they make up some excuse to screw over a customer. I know they can sell the car for well above MSRP and made this excuse to make more money. It is these type of stealerships that destroy the brand equity of GM. So sad to see as GM invest so much money in R&D to build this world class sports car (finally) and it is these type of experience that will kill it. Take your money elsewhere. GM has lost a customer forever. More
Leased a car two months ago and still don't have the license plates. Dealership never returns phone calls or emails. I have a car that I'm unable to drive now. Good-looking dealership, Nice array of vehicles. Inquiries online were quickly auto-replied by email, phone call was promptly returned the next day. Sadly, that's where the professionalism turns off Inquiries online were quickly auto-replied by email, phone call was promptly returned the next day. Sadly, that's where the professionalism turns off.. Apparently in NY, it's acceptable to market vehicle "prices" as a deflated, fake amount; which is then to be [adjusted per a separate amount mentioned in another clause of fine print]. I spoke with sales guy Chris about an SUV, and extra add-ons, only to later find out the listed price (on their website, Autotrader, and other used websites) was a lie. AKA - The listed and advertised "Price" you see does NOT include the [fine print] "Down payment" [of $2500-2995]. Disclosing variable fees (to include tax, tag, title, testing, etc) is fine, but it's Plainly Deceptive (bait and switch) Dirty Advertising to Not Disclose the true/real Sale price, anywhere! This is the worst car dealership I’ve ever been to. They sold me a lemon I bought it back not even a week they said they fixed it less than a month to all went from 100% to 11% now and the engine light They sold me a lemon I bought it back not even a week they said they fixed it less than a month to all went from 100% to 11% now and the engine light is on I’m tired. This place is a total rip off. I was told to bring the car to service this morning at 7 AM. The people that work here are rude and disrespectful, I was talking to the service guy. He told me he didn’t wanna hear it to get in the back of the line like everybody else. I am going on the radio and blast. This place is horrible. The sales rep took my ID my drivers license home with him I don’t know what kind of scam the running , but I know they cars are trash. More
Initially, I had a horrible experience at Sunrise Chevrolet, but Shela, the rep, and the technicians, rectified the matter. My first interaction occurred on November 25th, the day of the initial appo Chevrolet, but Shela, the rep, and the technicians, rectified the matter. My first interaction occurred on November 25th, the day of the initial appointment. When I arrived, I was told my car won't get looked at because they were short staffed. The service agent said she would talk to her manager and they were able to inspect my car. I left and after a few hours, I received a call informing me of the services that they would have to perform, the cost of the non-covered services and that they would order the necessary parts for the repairs. When I arrived to pick up my car, the customer service representative said the parts would be in by Monday, November 28th, and that she would call once the parts were delivered. Monday came and no call. Tuesday came and no call. I called Thursday and Friday to inquire about the status of the order and no one answered. I left voicemails and my call was never returned. I considered going to another shop, but I would have to pay the diagnostic fee so I decided to just wait. I finally got a call on Tuesday, December 6th; eight days after the estimated arrival date. I scheduled an appointment for Friday, December 9th. I arrived on Friday and I was told that the car couldn't not be serviced that same day, but that it would be ready by Saturday morning- totallyunderstandable. I accepted and left my car. Saturday morning came and no one called. I became worried and decided to call them. I started calling around noon and every time I called the service and parts department, no one answered. Around 5pm, a kind service agent answered and she took it upon herself to investigate the status of the repair. She informed me that the delay was due to a missing part; they had two weeks to order the necessary parts for the repairs. Two weeks is sufficient time to order and inspect the parts to ensure nothing was missing! I was livid upon hearing the news! I spoke to the sales manager because the service/parts manager was out. The manager didn't offer a single way to rectify or address this matter. He apologized, but he kept blaming everyone and everything else (e.g., the representative, the order itself, the absent sales/parts manager). The manager said he understood why I was frustrated, enough though I said that I wasn't frustrated, I was furious. Not only was I invalidated, but he continuously failed to address me by my correct prefix, even though I corrected him multiple times. He finally said he would inform the service manager and that someone would contact me on Monday. Then, he proceeded to hang up on me. I felt disrespected by the lack of professionalism and customer service decorum. My calls were not answered, voicemails with requests for calls are not returned, no status updates are provided, there seemed to be no accountability, and lastly, I felt as if there was no regard for a customer's schedule or demands. I had to rearrange my work schedule to accommodate this preventable delay. I understand that delays happen, but what infuriated me was the lack of communication and the disregard for a customer's schedule. Luckily, Shela and the technicians came to my rescue. They finished all the repairs by Monday afternoon and I was provided with a generous discount. The initial interactions left me with a sour taste;however, I am glad and grateful that the matter was rectified and addressed accordingly. Thank you Sunrise Chevy. More

A bunch of scammers and con artists. Wasted 3 days of my life. Initial meeting I was a walk in interested in a car I saw on cars.com. was 2019 GMC Yukon Denali. The car had a distinct smoke odor but I was willing to move forward if they detailed the car. Agreed. then we moved to numbers. This took two hours and we were no where near where I wanted to be. I said I need to leave as I had to pick up kids from school now since this took so long. As a desperation tactic, Chris asked me to fill out a credit app and we'll work on the numbers and call me. I leave. 4 hours later I get a call from Chris that we got a deal for the terms I had set and when can I pick up the car. I said 2 days later at 10am. I show up 2 days later at 10am, and Chris my sales person not there. No managers there. I found a random sales person to take me to find the car to see if like they said the car had been detailed. After going upstairs to the garage and finding it, of course the car had not been detailed and smoke was stronger than ever. I waited for 20 minutes for NO ONE to arrive to tell me what's going on. I leave and tell them to call me. Chris calls me 3 hours later and asks when am I coming in! I said I was in and left, the car isn't ready. He assured me they would get to it over the weekend so I said ill be back tuesday (this was Thursday) giving them ample time to get it done and everyone is agreed. Fast forward over the weekend to Tuesday, I call the dealership when they opened asking for Chris. Of course he's not there. I wanted verification the car was ready this time before I drove 20 miles in NYC traffic. Asked the receptionist for someone to call me back to confirm. 2 hours go by, I call again, same answer. Chris is with a customer he'll call you back. Never got a call. So I just decided at 2pm in the afternoon to go and see if I could just pick the car up as is. I show up, Chris isn't there, he's helping another customer. I was helped to see the car and actually 80% of the odor was removed. I was good to go and just wanted to sit with finance and get out at this point. waited another hour to sit with finance. Immediately the parameters of the deal changed... They had to call Chris multiple times to see what was said and what the terms were. Ended up with a 3 month longer term and a $50/month rate hike plus $2000 down (previously nothing down was agreed upon). So all of a sudden I was charged $8k more than what was agreed upon and wasted 3 days of my life. AVOID. SAVE YOUR TIME and MONEY. Oh and there is never parking. Don't understand how this dealership is still open. More

Worst Chevrolet Dealer in Queens. I leased a 2022 AWD Equinox in 08/23/22 from them, and got a great deal, however the way they treated my trade in; 2020 Nissan Murano was trash. I leased a 2022 AWD Equinox in 08/23/22 from them, and got a great deal, however the way they treated my trade in; 2020 Nissan Murano was trash. 1.First off; I needed the front bumper hook plastic in front for my equinox to be put on by them because apparently, when they were cleaning the car before giving it to me at the time of purchase, someone threw out the plastic cover and then it took 2 weeks of me calling this dealer every day to get my plastic cover for the car. Mike was the one who helped me out and put the cover on my car. 2. Nissan kept calling me asking where is the murano and the payments I told them Chevy will take care of them. Since I purchased the equinox from this dealer on 08/23/2022, they did not make the remaining payments on the Nissan or return the car back to Nissan which they said they would, up until 10/05/2022. I found out from the sale manager Muran who I made the sale with that they did not know what happened and my Nissan has been sitting in their lot for over a month. The sales person, Chris was out for a month and no one picked up the work. If it wasn’t for me being on top of the dealer and making complaints to General Motors and Chevy, this dealership would have kept my car and not made the payments to Nissan. General Motors wants to provide me with a $260 certificate for the troubles and time I had to deal with this dealership. They are very unprofessional, when you ask for a manager, they will transfer you to different people, and when you reach someone, They always promise to call you back and they don’t. Any services I need for the car I will be going somewhere else. Do not come to this dealership if your trading in your car or even purchasing. More
