So, an update on my March 2, 2022, review on the service of City of Marfa ambulance brought in on December 2021. I was told parts will be in on March 17. On March 21, I called and was told "THE ONLY PART" of City of Marfa ambulance brought in on December 2021. I was told parts will be in on March 17. On March 21, I called and was told "THE ONLY PART" they are waiting on is a DEF pump, which will be in on March 23. So today I just got off the phone, I was just told "THE ONLY PART" they are waiting on is the DEF holding tank, that will be in on April 4th. So I was originally told other dealers have the parts. Today I was told I could have paid a surcharge to have the parts shipped to Sunland Dodge. I don't understand, why do they keep changing their story? In retrospect, back in early January 2022 I should have asked, which dealer has the parts, I will go there, if I would have initially been told I could have paid a surcharge to get the parts to Sunland Dodge, I would have paid a surcharge. As I write this, The City of Marfa ambulance has been sitting in the Service Dept. for 2 months and I am unable to get an explanation on the parts. I do understand the lack of parts and supply chain issu sitting in the Service Dept. for 2 months and I am unable to get an explanation on the parts. I do understand the lack of parts and supply chain issue, but to get a run around and unable to get a straight answer for 2 months is very poor customer service. In December, I brought the ambulance to Sunland Dodge because I was able to pour only a quart of DEF into the holding tank, yet the gauge said 31% full. A couple of days later I received a phone call that the ambulance needs a new DEF module which is on back order and will arrive in a couple of weeks. I was also told that other dealers have the module but are saving it for their customers. I aid hey it is for an ambulance that I need to get back in service. I called couple of days later and recommended Rock Auto had the part and was ready to ship. I never heard back from the Service dept. I called about 4 time during January for an update, and I was instructed to leave a message and they would return my call. i never had a phone call returned during the whole month of January. The 1st week of February I did finally receive a phone call stating the parts would arrive February 17th. So, on February 22nd I called for an update and was instructed to leave a message, which was never returned. On February28th I called for an update and actually to the service guy, he told me the parts would be in the middle of March. I remined him the last message from him was the February 17th arrival date. He said the parts must be in then. So, I asked, "You all have been sitting on the parts for 12 days?" He said he will go locate the parts. 10 minutes later he tells me that the computer is slow, it I having a glitch, modern technology you know? I will call you back later with an update. That mut be one low computer because 2 days later I have not received an update. More
