This is my second time purchasing a vehicle with Sundance. I love my "new" SUV but I think I should have been given a break on the financing. I received a letter from GM telling me that I qualified Sundance. I love my "new" SUV but I think I should have been given a break on the financing. I received a letter from GM telling me that I qualified for a $15,000 vehicle. When I got my first vehicle from Sundance, I'm pretty sure my credit was worse but I was also working a part-time job. Since then I lost my job due to Long covid symptoms. So, having already been disabled, losing my job had me between a rock and a hard place. I had been having a really rough month and then the car I got from Sundance in 2019 died and it was just too much work that needed to be done to make it drivable. I remembered I had that letter from GM telling me that I could get a car from Sundance. I felt that Sundance could have financed me based on my record with the previous lender. No one offered to talk to me from the finance department, and that was disappointing. However, if my salesman had not been so diligent and working hard for me I definitely would have been in a worse situation than I am. So I am grateful for that! I hate to say that I was just a number with Sundance but I could have gone to any dealership and been financed by the same lender with the same rates, Etc. No I'm not saying it was all bad. If it were, then I wouldn't have a smile on my face while driving my new vehicle. But, as a word of advice, the office people should be a little more personable with the customers. That shouldn't sit solely on the shoulders of the salesperson. And since I can't complain about either of my experiences with Sundance, the next time I need a vehicle I will probably go back to them again. More
