Avoid this dealership. It's disappointing for me to say - Stay away from this dealership! This is long but worth it if you want to get an idea of how they operate. My RAM was diagnosed with a faulty camshaft (google 2012 HEMI Camshaft issue or Misfire) for which the estimate was $4200. It was 4mos out of warranty but 20k miles under. Suncoast told me they weren't going to offer any assistance and I would have to call Corporate for help. I did. Working with Corporate was great. They said what typically happens in situations like this is they split the cost three ways, Corporate/Dealership/Customer. Sounds fair, right? Nope. Suncoast refuses every attempt from Corporate. One call I had with a rep they said how disappointed they were in Suncoast and they would figure something out. They did. They promised to split the cost 50/50. Solid customer service from the manufacturer. I drop the truck early on Monday morning and pick up my rental, because they don't provide loaners. I didn't get it back until Friday morning because of excuses like: "we need to order the right parts" and " we want to make sure it's done right" costing me 2 extra days of rental fees. Next, I'm presented with a bill of over $5200. When I questioned why it was $1000 over the estimate and why I wasn't notified of such a big increase prior to the work being done, I was floored by the answer: Service Writer: "Because we get to charge the manufacturer way more for warranty work and we don't have to notify you." Me: "I was told by YOU this wasn't going to be covered by warranty and if this is warranted, why am I paying anything? The manufacturer said they would split the $4200 with me, not $5200." Service Writer: "Why are you complaining you're only paying 1/2." Me: "Half of something you're charging warranty pricing for while telling me it wasn't eligible for warranty." Me: "Also, I don't see the diagnostic fee of $160 applied. That's how it's been done for all repairs I've had done here." Service Writer: "That's because this is warranty work and we don't refund it in that case." Me: "So, let me make sure I understand this - I bring you $5000+ worth of warranty work, of which I somehow still owe 1/2, but you won't apply the diagnostic fee to MY balance, that I am paying, out of my own pocket?" Service Writer: "I'll get my manager to explain it." I was left in the tiny cashier waiting room for over 45mins, making me late to work, when the Service Writer returns to tell me he didn't know where his manager was and it was going to be a while, then told me to move my truck. I told him I'd move it once I spoke with the manager. 60 seconds later the manager invites me into his office. He starts off by proclaiming all that Suncoast had done for me with this situation so I ask him what that was? "We paid 1/2 of the repair." I reminded him that the Manufacturer, who told me how disappointed they were in Suncoast, paid 1/2 and Suncoast paid nothing. At that point another Suncoast employee who was walking through the office having no part of our conversation came up to me with no introduction or greeting and with hostility, yells "Well, next time we'll just say NO! How about that?!" and walked out. At this point I'm feeling threatened and just want to get out but figure I'll ask one more time for them to apply the diagnostic fee to my balance. Refused. So my last ditch effort to save this relationship (which includes a $120k+ worth of vehicles & 6yrs of loyalty to the Service dept) was to say "ok, since I'm paying half of this bill, are you willing to split the diagnostic fee with me and apply $80 to my portion?" You know the answer, "Nope". I've never spent so much money and been so loyal to a business only to be completely disrespected and treated like they were doing me a favor by me bringing them $5000+ worth of work and how dare I question any part of the bill. I'll never go back and will share my story with as many people as possible to try to save them from this kind of experience. More

The sales person and dealer agreed to this and put it in writing will repair frontend so I bought the truck. The truck developed an unrelated issue the day after I bought it, the dealer did get the truck in and fix this issue as it was in the first 3 days and contract could be cancelled. I showed the sales person that the original issue was still present, and it will need to be fixed. I reminded them of the promised repair, which again they agreed to do I went to make an appointment to have the repair made the dealer said the work was done when I brought the truck for the clutch issue, which I showed them it wasn't fixed at that time. Not very trust worthy and need to endure you get everything in writing stating exactly what is to be done. I feel that being a younger car buyer that they could take advantage of me, but not the case. More

Poor service oil change, It took over two hours to have an oil change completed , and there’s only one other customer in the waiting area ....really ... this is rediculous and It took over two hours to have an oil change completed , and there’s only one other customer in the waiting area ....really ... this is rediculous and the lady came in 38 minutes ago and said it would only be 15 minutes 😳 she told me 10 minutes ago when I went to find her “five minutes” can someone please buy this lady a watch. So we had to go back and resign a new contract for a higher interest rate. I asked him since they screwed up and we had to go back and do it all over again what's he going to do for us. He said what do you what me to do. I made a suggestion and he couldn't do it.He could have offered a couple of free oil changes or something but didn't. He wasn't going to do anything I suggested anyway he didn't care. They got our money. We were inconvenienced by having to go back again but again he could care less. I'll never buy or go there for service ever again. Our salesman was wonderful would buy from him again but I won't be returning to that dealership ever. More

From the very start I made it clear and it was agreed this was a trade and cash purchase "only". I was told face to face there would never be a hard inquiry on my credit. Today is 8/31/17, I've been notified that Suncoast on 8/28/17 jammed my credit with a hard inquiry, which can last up to two years and has dropped my credit score six points "on my cash purchase" mind you. I just checked their privacy policy which pretty much says they can send your information to anyone they want that is affiliated with them to any degree. I believe they somehow make money on how many names & information they can run through the system. I'm now dealing with dispute forms with the credit bureau. With regards to Suncoast as a dealership I will say it's good but the finance department however has ruined the whole experience so beware! My word was golden & backed up, theirs wasn't! Everything that was negotiated and promised was honored. I will recommend them to potential customers and I will be back in 3 years. Hopefully Jeep will not drastically change the look of the Grand Cherokee. More
