Suncoast had more certified preowned cars than any other lot I visited. All of their preowned cars had gone through an intensive 125 point inspection which gave me great ease of knowing I was getting a quality vehicle at a LOW PRICE. Not only did I drive out in a beautiful 2007 Jeep Wrangler, but I also get two years free maintenance. The whole process was enjoyable and the family feel of the dealership really made a big difference in the whole process. I've never been to a dealership where the owner has come to introduce himself personally. I will being doing business with Suncoast in the future and I suggest them to anyone! More
The experience of doing business at Suncoast Chrysler Jeep Dodge was impressive to say the least. Suncoast is also a Dodge dealer. I bought a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab there. I had conducted a great deal of research and knew the invoice price, purchase order price and how long the truck had been on Ram 1500 Crew Cab there. I had conducted a great deal of research and knew the invoice price, purchase order price and how long the truck had been on the lot before my visit. Truthfully, I pitted a couple of dealers against each other in my quest to secure the best price. After learning this and the price of a competing dealer, the folks at Suncoast got straight to the point and showed me what they were willing to accept. The deal was remarkable AND they even beat my credit union on financing. I was treated great deal of respect even though they did not make a great deal of profit from our transaction. I failed to bring in my tag to transfer and they even loaned me a Dealer Tag so I could take the truck that day. I even got a 15% discount for accessories. To top it off, they paid to have the tag mailed back to them! Communication after the sale was phenomenal. They are highly recommended both for price (do your homework!) and professionalism during and after the sale. More

Sales (of course) go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating, but AFTER the sale, you're pretty much on your own. The service dept used to be attentive and seemed to work hard to resolve any problems, however, over the past year I've noticed a big change. In just one, most recent example, I went in for a regular oil change and to get the Auto Butler service. I was met at the service bay by a Jason Imler who appeared to be doing everything he could just to stay awake. I got the impression I was bothering him. He said something about my not having the 30k maintenance on the vehicle. I told him I still wasn't able to afford the over $700 that would cost, but since I was doing a lot of driving to TX and back, asked him to suggest one of the more important services to be done and that I would have to do these things one at a time. He said something about the transmission so I agreed. Oil change, Auto Butler and this transmission whatever it was. He had his little hand-held computer that they use to enter and track jobs (I assume) and had me sign. I didn't know exactly what I was signing, but thought it was just to sign off on these repairs. He called me back later in the day to say that they had found a real problem with a leak in the transmission. It would cost over $100. Since there's really no other answer, I agreed. After I hung up from that call, I thought about the extended warranty I had gotten when I bought the vehicle and tried to call him back to see if this transmission work would be covered. I was unable to reach him. I ended up calling several times because I would either be transferred to a voice mail or to the cashier and one time, to the sales dept. I asked the operator why I was unable to reach him when I had just spoken to him less than one minute ago. She replied that he was with another customer. I said that was very fast, and she stated that they were very busy around there. I have no idea what his job description is, but apparently it's just to "find" more work that should be done to your vehicle. I don't remember the exact time frame, but had originally taken the car in around noon. When Jason returned my call, he said I didn't have a warranty on the car. I told him that I did and that the information would be in the glove box. He repeated that I did NOT have a warranty with Chrysler and gave me the impression that I was lying! I told him I DID had a warranty with somebody and thought it very odd that the dealer who sold me the vehicle, serviced the vehicle and sold me the warranty would not be aware of the warranty. They had all other kinds of information about me so why not this information? He said he would look. Because the additional costs of this repair would then take my bill over $500, I wanted to make sure that they "found" the warranty so I wouldn't have to fight with them about it when I picked the car up. I had my husband take me to the dealership so I could find the paperwork and give it to Jason. When I got there, around 4pm, and waited about 10 minutes for Jason to come out, he greeted me with the fact that the work would be covered by the warranty (that he had suddenly found). He said the car was in detail and he would give me a call when it was ready to pick up. At 6pm I had to call again, only to find out that the service dept was closed and I would not be able to get my car. When I went back in this morning to pick it up, Jason told me (to my face) that he had told me the vehicle was in detail and I should be able to pick it up soon. He thought I was waiting for it. I'm not sure how he came to that conclusion .. he must not have to make sure each of his customers for the day have been taken care of. He must not have noticed that I walked away from him and got in another vehicle. He must not have looked in the waiting room for me when he was notified that my car was done, he must not be required to call his customers when he was notified that my car was done. He must not be required to make sure his customers are taken care of. This is a good thing to know because it means that the dealership doesn't care either. When I picked the car up this morning, I went in first to speak with the service manager, Bob Day. It was pretty much like talking to Jason. Or a blank wall. I tried to tell him what my problem was, but he didn't respond (other than to imply I was mistaken) and just kept "telling" me what really happened. There was absolutely no attempt whatsoever to understand what I was trying to say. He was just waiting for me to finish saying whatever I wanted to say, then he went over and got the paperwork and started telling me what they did to my car. It was absolutely frustrating. I tried to find out why there was an additional charge regarding a transmission flush but all he did was read me information off the work sheet. It didn't answer my questions, I have no idea why there was a separate charge and I have no idea why the question was, apparently, impossible to answer. I was going to look for a newer version of the same vehicle I have now but certainly didn't feel at all willing to hang around Suncoast any more than necessary. I WILL be getting a new vehicle in the near future, but it certainly won't be from Suncoast!! I don't think they're aware of it, but they aren't the only Jeep dealership in the area. By the way ... I'm not sure exactly what all Auto Butler is supposed to do, but whatever it is, they don't do it well. The outside looked fine but nothing but a little light vacuuming was done to the inside. I had to clean it when I got home. More

I brought my Jeep in for a minor repair which was basically to replace a bad connector that is attached to the Blower Motor resistor. The simple repair, with up selling was over $500.00 and when I pi basically to replace a bad connector that is attached to the Blower Motor resistor. The simple repair, with up selling was over $500.00 and when I picked up my car the heater or AC blower motor did work, but the air did not come out of the vents. This I believe is a major repair that could cost over $1000.00. When I quickly brought it back, it was as if I wanted another estimate for something they (Suncoast) either disconnected or broke. All my blower vents had worked before bringing my car into the dealership and I do have proof of that. Discussions with the service manager did not help solve the problem. I am so mad that I was awake all night. I am a registered Professional Engineer in many states and do know how to use electric meters and solve wiring problems. I did receive estimates to fix the problem prior to bringing my Jeep into your dealership. I did not believe they were going to replace the right part as they wanted to replace the blower motor, but a simple check determined that the reason the blower didnt work was there was no power going to it. I found the bad connector myself using a voltage and OHM meter. All I wanted the Suncoast dealer to fix was what I believed was a bad connector, as when I cleaned it up, everything worked normally. Even though all worked well, I disconnected it and decided to have it replaced, this was my big mistake. Jack Gaughan PE More

I have a loyalty to the Jeep brand but had negative experiences with other Jeep dealers in the area. At Suncoast my salesperson as well as the dealership was supportive and encouraging during the entire process. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the cars in stock, their features, as well as my financing options. Everyone I worked with was friendly and personable. The family owned dealership gives a warmer and more welcoming feel than most other dealerships I have visited. Needless to say, I will continue to bring my business to Suncoast and would strongly encourage anyone else! More
We have a 2006 Jeep Liberty, bought at Suncoast Jeep brand new. The Jeep has been back over 8 times for a window regulator repair on all of the windows. Since 2006 Chrystler has acknowledged that there brand new. The Jeep has been back over 8 times for a window regulator repair on all of the windows. Since 2006 Chrystler has acknowledged that there is a problem and made upgrades/repairs to the design flaw. Instead of fixing the problem permanently, Suncoast continues to use the... old design so that we have to bring the Jeep back in for repairs at approximately $100 each. As long as this problem is not solved permanently, look for the Mitsubishi with its windows painted "Do Not Buy Suncoast Jeep." Also look for the bad reviews and viral videos posted by me and other unsatisfied customers online. More
