15,000 mile checkup Overall experience was excellent. Waited awhile before asst. service mgr. arrived, however, courtesy reps outside were pleasant. Asst. service manager arrived and checked me in promptly and pointed me to the lounge area and free beverages. The arrivals board is a nice added touch which allows guest to measure expectations when car will be ready. After my expectation date had exceeded 5 min. asm came out and said he was going to check and see when my car would be ready. He came back shortly and said it would be out in 5 minutes which it was. Although the vehicle arrived after the expected time it was handled very professionally and I was completely happy with the experience. Way too long waiting time I called a week in advance to schedule an appointment for the first service for our new 4 Runner. When I arrived approximately 15 minutes prior to my I called a week in advance to schedule an appointment for the first service for our new 4 Runner. When I arrived approximately 15 minutes prior to my scheduled time, I was told that all it needed this time was a tire rotation and checking of the fluid levels - and a complimentary car wash. The service person said that it should take an hour at the most, and not to worry even though there were several other cars at the service line, mine would be moved up to the front because I had an appointment. I was happy to hear that when I saw how many other cars were there - that way, I could get back to work in a reasonable time. Almost 3 hours later, my simple tire rotation was finally finished. I'm not sure what good it was to schedule an appointment..... More
