He checked on me a few times, even asking if I need water. Even though they were busy, their customer service was tops. The waiting lounge and bathroom were also clean. The TV sound a little bit on the loud side, but it was a cooking class so I was still able to concentrate on my reading. Overall, it was a great experience. More

I was greeted immediately at my vehicle and checked in by friendly service rep and had my diagnostics done within an hour. Every service member was friendly and professional. My only complaints is in the vehicle itself... that I needed a new battery after inly 47, 000 miles. I bought a suburu because it's great reputation of reliability so this was a bit disappointing. The dealership and people were excellent! More

Nick was our salesperson and was great to work with. Knowledgeable about the Subaru brand, but not pushy in any way. Very patient and even offered to order pizza for us for dinner! My husband and I enjoyed our time at the dealership that day, largely due to how personable Nick is and pleasant to work with. Royal was also great at explaining and demonstrating the features of our Forester and setting up my phone with BT for the first time. Thank you to everyone at Subaru El Cajon for everything you did to make us feel welcome and appreciated. Firstly, their internet pricing department provided aggressive pricing and I decided to drove down 15 miles to the dealer. My closest dealer at Kearny Mesa was not up to the mark. Secondly, Sales agent was nice and he explained all the options to me. When we forgot some stuff at dealership he went miles to make sure we received it. He responded to my messaged at 11pm in the night. Overall, my experience was smooth and hopefully my car would be great too... More

Long story short, my car needed to have an oil change and I didnt want to put it off any further because i was going on a trip to Seattle that week. I have verified with kearny mesa that they dont need an appt and its a walk in first come first serve basis when it comes to oil changes. I went to kearny mesa at 7am, and they mentioned they dont take walk ins anymore and i will need to make a reservation.. the earliest spot i got was 3 days later. I called el cajon subaru and spoke with someone who mentioned no appt or reservations necessary. I wish i had remembered his name because his phone etiquette was on point. He introduced himself and sounded like he was having a good morning. I got to subaru and Jessica greeted me with a smile. She told me what they will do and what theyll check/inspect on my car. She also asked if i wanted a free car wash. I waited in the waiting area and watched some tv. I wish this place had vending machines.. or maybe i just didnt see it. Got my name called and there was another guy who told me what they did and inspected. Theres a lot of nice things to say about the customer service i received from the time i got there til i drove off the lot. The team outside seemed like they all got along and were friendly. They were also friendly to my dog, which is a huge plus.. knowing that subaru itself supports its animals. They even offered my dog a bowl of water. Unlike kearny mesa.. Thank you guys! I will def. take my car here for its future servicing. More

Needs Better Service Evaluation My Subaru had been in a couple of times to locate a sound resembling a broken shock. The problem was not diagnosed the first two times. On my third visit, I was told after being sent to the guest waiting room, to make an appointment, they were too busy that day. On the fourth time i, the car was in the shop for one week, mostly waiting on a part to replace the struts. I would think, that after having been in for this same service several times, they would have identified the problem and told me that they would need to order the part and have me come back when the part was in. Then my vehicle would have only been out of service for a one day.repair. More
