I called to make an appointment and he told me that he mis quoted me and Subaru El Cajon 12/28 I was quoted by Angel for a price of $595 for tires. I called to make an appointment and he told me that he mis quoted me and that the best he could do for the Yokohama Geolander All Terrain would be $695 out the door. I made an appointment and brought it in to get the promised tires. When I picked it up, the tires that were on it were not the ones promised. They were a inferior model and not the Geolander AT tires I was quoted. I asked Angel what the deal was and he said “oh man I really xxxxed up”. He told me that they put the wrong ones on and that he would get them changed out. After waiting he then told me that he couldn’t get them until the end of January. He also said they wouldn’t be the all terrain. I told him that is what he quoted me for and he told me that there is “no way that he would quote me that price for those tires. “He said he could put back on my old tires. I was pretty upset by this. I said fine put back on the old ones and I’ll be on my way. He came back and said that he would try to make it right and I told him that I have an issue with him saying to me that he never said they would be “Geolander All Terrain” tires. He again said that he never said they would be “All Terrain.” He was insinuating that I was lying. I was not. I was quoted a price for an all terrain tire and then he told me that he never said that. I was over it at that point and told him to put back on my old tires. I went to talk with the service manager and got absolutely nowhere with him. He told me I had an attitude and never accepted any responsibility for the issue, lie, dishonesty and poor customer service. We went back and forth for a bit and I basically left insulted and extremely unsatisfied. This is the second poor review I have for the service department at Subaru if El Cajon. WARNING! STAY AWAY from these dishonest rude people.! I will never return. I was basically called a lier, wasted an entire day and was verbally abused by these people! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! More
