Service Department is dishonest. My son's car was brought in for a transmission service - it was dropped off this morning at 7:45am and sat in a parking space until after 8:45am. At 8:59am he received a text that his car was done. I was charged $275 for labor and the service writer tried to tell me that the car was driven back at the time of drop off (it was not, I was on the phone with my son and he was standing in the parking lot looking at it) and that it was in the back being worked on until 9:50am. The level of service has gone down since it was purchased by Summit, work done, but the issues still occuring and now blatant lies to justify over charging for labor. Shane on you Summit. More

I am 87 years old and I’ve bought many cars for myself, my wife & my children and dealt with various dealership over the years and truthfully Summit Subaru El Canon is by far the best !!! I love my subaru !!! More
My Outback became inoperable due to a faulty thermal sensor & I had to get it towed to the Summet Subaru in El Cajon. The repair was under warranty & there was no charge to me for the repair. The only cost to me was for the tow charge & thanks to the staff at Summit contacting Subaru of America, Subaru agreed to help absorb some of the towing cost due to the unusual circumstance of the distance involved. The vehicle was repaired within a day & Sam kept me informed of the progress from beginning to end. Madison kept me informed of her initial communications with Subaru of America which I feel was instrumental in Subaru offering in assist me. I have nothing but gratitude & praise for Summit & Subaru. The service could not have been any better. More
I have had no problems dealership! Jack has been a great service advisor for my 2018 Subaru! Always gets me in, returns calls and is amazingly positive, reliable, and smart!!! His insight and understanding of not only the vehicle design and safety features, but also the technology that came with it was reassuring that my selection of a Subaru Crosstrek was the right decision for me. I really appreciated Jack not attempting to up sale me. I walked away knowing that what I was looking for was heard by Jack and the Summit team and Jack was there to help me find it. After the purchase, Bexey was amazing going over all the "bells and whistles", including some features I didn't even realized that came with the Crosstrek! More
