I was having engine problems with my KIA. I went to another dealership n they denied my service problem without even trying. So I took my car to Summit Place KIA in Auburn Hills. I had the best service representative ever (Dan) he kept me updated through the whole process of my car repair. He would call me to let me know if there was a delay or back order for my car parts. I've been a loyal customer at Summit Place Kia for the past 10 years. During that time, my experiences with the service/repair department have been outstanding...until my phone conversation with "Mike" e past 10 years. During that time, my experiences with the service/repair department have been outstanding...until my phone conversation with "Mike" earlier this week. (He did provide his last name) I tried to set up a repair appointment. Mike started off by verbally unloading his anger regarding his work schedule, being on his feet all day, only three people doing work, and being too busy all without a break. "That's why none of your phone calls were returned...I'm too busy!" I explained the work I needed done. Right after I finished, he asked, "What do you need done to your car?" I repeated myself and then commented that he and his team must be having a tough day today. I said to him, "A lot of businesses are short handed at this time" He lost it...telling me "You don't understand". He did swear at me. I let him know that he was not providing good customer service and, in fact, speaking un-professionally and not being helpful. I got handed more verbal insults. He ended the conversation with, "We don't want your business! Go somewhere else!" and hung up the phone, More
