My entire experience was first class. I wanted to have as much information as possible before going to the dealer as well as a contactless experience where possible. Will Leger was amazing! They advertised a contactless experience but wouldn’t talk specifics until I agreed to come in. Upon arrival David Lee was fantastic. He was positive, upbeat and funny. I felt like I could have a beer with him. As we waited for the paperwork we talked about life and laughed. I walked out of the dealership with a great deal a new ride, and a new friend. I purchased my Forte from Summit Place 3 years ago, and I was very pleased with the finance department and the sales department. But now.... I absolutely do NOT feel that way anymore. I received an email about the credit amnesty program which I thought was great. I figured I could get out of my 2017 into a new 20/21. My sales person was quick with me had no alternatives, didn't ask if I had down payment money, didn't tell me about rebates or anything. She just asked for a co signer and got off the phone with me. She was a complete waste of my time, I'll never call Summit Place KIA ever again for a car sales. This is one of the reasons why most people are utilizing internet car sales such as Carvana. More

But after today.....this was the last Straw for me, you see I purchased my first new car 🚙 all by myself without a co-signer or EX husband and it was certainly one of my proudest moments...a beautiful 2019 Kia Soul + Caribbean Blue and I was so In LOVE...! That being said I’ve spend several dimes on her in the Parts Department in Accessories: like Black Bra on hood Rain Guards over the Windows Luggage Rack System and even the Yakima (12) Cargo Box Weatherproof Rugs Cargo Net Interior Lighting Kit for the floors and just today I priced the actual spare tire and kit for 250.00 and the Yakima Awning to purchase for 299.00 all these I’ve bought directly at your very own Parts Counter except Yakima Box that was Kia In Sierra Vista AZ ...! I’ve been extremely loyal to this Dealership in particular. Always been extremely nice, understand my deafness, etc etc..! Last year while taking a trip up over Mackinac Bridge the Fog lights went off on the Bridge at dark....talk about scary..! Days later i left UP and other lights were shutting down, I drove straight back to Summit Place Kia in AH and called them and was told there closing in 15 min come now or in the morning. But when I explained the situation they agreed to come immediately..! Don’t turn the car off I was instructed the tech needs to see the car 🚙 running to see the emergency warning lights ...Battery discharge warning light was going off literally every 2 minutes while i was on the phone with Tech he could hear it thru my phone call. I received a call the next morning and was told I had an Alternator that shorted out and that’s why the smoking hot smell, electrical smell I got driving that last hour to AH and why things were shutting down was a safety thing because of the short going on. My battery was clearly in some way damaged by this. Since last year there have been 3 times where I’ve called and taken car in for oil changes and discussed this battery discharge warning light coming on randomly even while driving. Battery as I was told was inspected bit low but not terrible....! They weren’t concerned..! I was they weren’t..! Earlier this year while in AZ took to dealership and told to follow up with Summit Place in AH since I’m heading back to MI tomorrow. Called went in for oil change mentioned it.....re-assured again 6 weeks ago when I took it in for my 30k service it was ✅ that it shouldn’t happen again, not to worry they know I’m dealing with brain tumor, relax focus on my health they’ll focus if my safety with my 🚙 my Baby..! This past Sunday I went Grocery shopping left car in lot went for lunch with family first came back to move the car 🚙 to Handicapped parking wouldn’t crank over. Took 2 attempt finally got it moved car went inside to grocery shop an hour came out won’t start again. This time 3 cranks Service Engine Light on I’m cold it’s dark I got 2 service dogs and disabled son in the car with me it 520 on a Sunday...! What to do the Battery discharge message comes on and a service message reeling to call and schedule service for my Service Engine light ....Called Kia left VM Monday got a call from Dan had to call my Insurance in AZ for a tow to Summit Kia AH ....I demanded Summit Place because I always recurve excellent Customer Service and I got all my service done there and they know me. I have to pay extra for the tow over what my insurance pays because it’s not the local Lia dealer in Romeo/Washington. This is just how mush and Loyal I am to Summit Place AH Dan called me this Morning I need a new Purge Control Soleniod Valve which was thankfully under warranty and to no surprise the Battery is once again tested at a low state of charge. So they had to charge it for 1 h 40 m 15s they claim it good to go. I’m sorry but No...! I’ve been told and retold-assured I was good to go before and Now it’s 🥶 Winter..! And I’m supposed to be driving 2400 miles to AZ next week to live full time in my Soul for 3 months hours and 100’s miles away from any Kia dealer and you want me to trust it’s ok..! Really..! When this first happened I was told they were gonna replace the battery ...they didn’t ..! This is 4-5 times now I’ve had the 26 months it’s got 31k on it...By my own word of mouth I’ve had my entire friend and family trust Kia ...I Loved Kia....I told Dan I was NOT Happy ..!I no longer have the Peace of Mind I once had, I do t feel safe and trusting of this 🚙...I feel like you’ve definitely let me down....over a Battery you darn well should’ve made right the first time or 2 after this happened...! The fact that you let any Loyal and Faithful Customer leave feeling that way, visibly overwhelmed and distraught crying and your tech Dan was unwilling to even take a moment to try to understand my feelings on this, or get a Mgr to speak with me about this and just let me leave like this....in front of your entire Service dept ...Is really very difficult for me to understand. At this point it’s clear you Don't value your customers leaving with any great Sense of Peace in knowing there Safe when driving there loved ones around in your 🚙 . It’s time for to Sell my first love 🚙 😩🥺I told Dan you can figure on losing me and my family and friends as Business...He laughed More
