My 2021 Forte was towed to Summit Place East on February 25 bc of vandalism . Today is March 20th and the service department has discovered additional damage. We have purchased Kia’s since 2012. I admit it was Waterford and Auburn Hills. Clinton Township would not give me a loaner. I also own a Sportage 2023. We have been longtime customers. This incident will force me to get rid of both vehicles. Trust me, if I ever get my car back I will be getting rid of it. I won’t be recommending anyone to purchase a vehicle from Summit Place Kia -Clinton Township especially. More

Extremely disappointed in the service. So back in May 2021 my 2019 Kia Sedonas motor completely blew. Luckily it was covered seeing as how it was a manufacturers defect. For three miserable months they could not offer me a rental car, so I had to borrow friends and family and hope that eventually I would end up getting a rental. I am a single Mother of three small children, so trust me in saying that it was no easy task! Fast forward to end of December 2021. I finally got the call that my car was completed, so I went to go get it super excited to get my Mommy van back. To my disappointment pulling off the lot, again single Mother of 3 all of my tires were only at 27 Psi, shrugging it off because I knew how busy they were I stopped at a gas station and filled them up and just called Rob in service and let him know that they let me leave like that so it didn’t happen to anyone else. After that went to stop at Taco Bell and to my surprise my window was all jacked up, it wouldn’t roll all the way up or down with the auto switch which was weird because it wasn’t broken before I took it in and every time I was stopping it sounded like the car was letting out air or something so again I called Rob that I was going to need that fixed since it wasn’t like that before being brought in. When going to pick my vehicle up in December I asked how everything was. I was told the tires were still in great shape except maybe one and my brakes were surprisingly in good shape with the vehicle being at 60,000 miles. Well more continued to go wrong my brakes stayed lit instead of brightening when I brake, and if driving at a certain speed limit the sliding door kept going off notifying me it was open, when it wasn’t l. So I scheduled an appointment and took it back. Under the impression since I wasn’t having issues before it had to be towed they were going to fix what they messed up. I am now looking at a $2400 bill for brakes that i was told were still good, that aren’t, a brake fluid flush to see if that helps the sound my vehicle is making when stopping… new tires which I was told were still in good shape…. $150 for brake lights and yes I’m serious plus installation for those brake lights …. Over $350 for a window motor that was TOTALLY FINE before my cars motor blew so I feel as if they broke it …. They aren’t covering it…..so I got quotes from other people and places to see if I could save money and they are still charging me $350 in service fees for them to “diagnose” my car … that SHOULDVE BEEN DIAGNOSED BEFORE MY CHILDREN WERE RIDING AROUND IN IT. So after having my vehicle for 6 months, I finally get it back and there’s more wrong with it than before it went in!!!!!!! More
