We’ll not use this Ford dealership again. A simple recall appointment turned into a two day ordeal. They cannot manage their schedules and it took many phone calls to customer service to get information. Our appointment turned into a two day ordeal. My 1st and last time at Summerville Ford... because of the “service” department. I waited a week for an appointment and was told to drop off my car at 7:30am and that it’d be done around 3:00. Called at 3 the “service” department. I waited a week for an appointment and was told to drop off my car at 7:30am and that it’d be done around 3:00. Called at 3:45- was on hold for 15 minutes only to find out that they hadn’t even started it! It should be called the frustration department not the service department! Summerville Ford sets a high bar in customer service for any other dealership. I have been with them for 6 years and purchased three different cars. Some of the employees have changed, but the key managemen any other dealership. I have been with them for 6 years and purchased three different cars. Some of the employees have changed, but the key management positions remain strong. I first worked with Derrick, and he found the perfect Transit Van for my business. Derrick is professional and personable. Steve in finance, is another professional that finalized a great finance deal for me through Ford and took care of my trade-in Van. Elvis and Thomas are excellent at leading the Sales Team. I spent a lot of time with one exceptional salesman, names Jeff Foster. Although he looks like a retired bouncer, Jeff has a very calm demeanor and is very knowledgeable about Ford. He had only great comments about being added to the Summerville Ford Team. Do the right thing, support the best American Car Builder, Ford, and go to Summerville Ford. More

They always go above and beyond! I’ve purchased from Elvis more than once and I’ve been 100% confident that he’s always had my back. Also, Steve Meuli’s business cards should read “Finance Manager Extraordinaire” I’m 100% positive that this is the best team out there! Super Service adn Great People I recently had a Ford Ecoboost Performance Calibration Tune added to my 2019 Ecoboost Mustang. The kit had to be specially ordered through Ford Perfo I recently had a Ford Ecoboost Performance Calibration Tune added to my 2019 Ecoboost Mustang. The kit had to be specially ordered through Ford Performance. I went through Parts Department manager Jeff Hunter. Jeff ordered the parts and made all the arrangements. Once the kit was in, Jeff called me about what would be the best time to make an appointment and have the parts installed. We agreed on the date/time and I was in and out in about an hour or two cups of coffee in their lounge. The dealership and work areas are neat, clean and orderly. Everyone I talked and dealt with was friendly and courteous and it was a pleasure doing business with Summerville Ford. I'd highly recommend them for any of your future Ford needs. Bill H. More
The Bad Made Good! I had to bring my vehicle in for issues from manufacturing (recalls). The entire process was stressing me out. This was the third time that I had to c I had to bring my vehicle in for issues from manufacturing (recalls). The entire process was stressing me out. This was the third time that I had to come in, so I was completely over it! This time I was assigned to service advisor Danielle Johns...at first, I was already annoyed because of the situation with my car, but she made me feel at ease right away assuring me that my experience this time would be pleasant. Once my vehicle was not ready when we were expecting it to - I went into panic mode again. I'm a single mom and I need to be able to have a vehicle. I asked for a loaner car initially and was told I could not be accommodated due to not enough loaner vehicles being available..which is understandable. I was then told my part needed for my vehicle was on back order and that I would have to wait to get it to come in before my vehicle would be fixed. I got very very very upset. I tried to rent a vehicle through my insurance and that didn't work. I tried several different options, nothing was working. I was in panic mode again. I called the dealership to complain about not being able to have a loaner vehicle. I spoke to the lane manager - Joey Holmes. He was SO helpful!! After explaining my situation - he and Danielle made certain that I would be able to have a vehicle. I do not know what changed, but they made a way, and I'm grateful because a family emergency arose and I would need to have had a vehicle. From that point on, Danielle made sure she called me daily to let me know what was the status of my vehicle. Truly the definition of customer service. If you go - ask for Danielle!! If a problem arises - Joey can fix it, I'm sure! Thank you again! More
The epitome of greedy and sleazy Dear Summerville Ford, I’m don’t remember his first name for certain, Steve maybe, but I don’t even see him listed as a member of your sales staff. I wanted to let you and Mr. Hester know that the 2013 Ford Escape Titanium they offered me $9,200 for as a trade-in has been sold to Carvana for $15,508. They just picked it up a few minutes ago and gave me a check for the full amount. I find this seriously disconcerting because with the $3,000 cash y’all offered me back, which was in actuality a loan that would be included in my monthly payment for another car, means that in reality y’all were only giving me $6,200 for the trade in, 40% of what Carvana just paid me. Had that not been a loan, your offer would in reality been $12,200. Still nowhere near what Carvana paid me for it though. To top it off, I recently learned that your efforts to find financing for me on another car has resulted in more than 30 credit bureau inquiries. My credit was poor to begin with, due to my unpaid medical bills. Now it’s pretty much shot for the rest of my remaining limited years. Additionally, I don’t appreciate Mr. Hester calling me a day or two later and harassing me by asking me if it wouldn’t be better to accept y’alls offer, get the $3,000 cash, and pay off my medical bills. I bought this car from y’all in 2014 for $25,000 and it had about 10,000 miles on it then. It only has 15,000 on it now, and yes, the extremely low mileage does make the car worth the Kelley Blue Book value of approximately $16,000. That’s almost what I got for it and I don’t care what the auction price might be as an object’s value is what someone is willing to pay for it. Obviously, Carvana found it of much greater value than y’all did. I had considered coming back up there after I sold my car to buy another, cheaper, car from you guys. However, given all this, I will never buy from Summerville Ford again and I intend to share this review on the internet as a customer review of Summerville Ford in order to warn other people about how disreputable y’all truly are. I will also file a complaint with the BBB. Taking advantage of older, seriously ill and disabled Americans is despicable. More
