I experienced low air pressure warning on my 2023 Cadillac CT5 left rear tire. Milage 6400 miles; usually too early for a nail penetration. Dealer confirmed nail entry centerline directly on tread. She averred that the Michelin 3134MS low profile tires could not be patched or plugged. My experience is that a nail penetration on the side wall cannot be fixed; tread penetration centerline is fixable. My"free" air with new car and tire warranty did not apply so it cost me almost $500 to drive home. Why can this MIchelin tire not be patched or plugged?
