As soon as we walked in the door on a cold, wet day, coffee and tea were placed in our hands. We then sat down for conversation with sales representative Michele Wilson, who attentively listened to our wish list, contentiously taking notes, and checking inventory in an attempt to find possible matches. We walked the lot with Michele, getting a feel for appropriate selection, but it wasn’t the best night (by that time) for a test drive. The next day, we received a phone call checking on our experience. It is obvious that Suburban Subaru CARES and LISTENS! Not only did we have a helpful in store rep with Michele, now we had additional attention from Janel Rease, Internet Sales Specialist! Janel made email communication so easy, during a stressful time when phone calls were impossible for us. She was especially prompt with emailed answered to our questions, provided links to possible choices, and was always only minutes response time away! When we made it back to Suburban for a test drive, our power team of Michele and Janel had already arranged for a “sleep over” with a Forrester. We had been coached by our financial institution to ask for “an overnight”, and that they offered, before we had to ask, speaks a lot to the confidence of their vehicles. Subaru makes great products, there is no doubt. That Suburban Subaru donates to Fidelco for every new vehicle sold, is a great and admirable connection. We even love the Dog Commercials~! Our SUV Shopping experience with Suburban Subaru became very positive. Janel and Michele showed great attention and commitment to trying to help us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Suburban Subaru. Subaru is where you turn when you want a solid vehicle that you know will LAST, both under the hood and in the cabin. Everyone hates car shopping, myself included. But I was SO lucky to find Thomas Godbout at this dealership. He helped me find a truly unbeatable deal on a new Crosstrek, making sure that I got the car we wanted at a price lower than I ever expected. This is an industry where it helps to feel like you "know someone" and that's what the staff here provides. A hassle free, bullsh*t free, no pressure environment. We were able to find a brand new, reliable vehicle for half the payment as the other brands we considered. With the all wheel drive, sporty feel, and unmatched reliability, we couldn't be happier and don't have to worry that we overpaid a penny. Go check them out and definitely ask for Tom, before the end of the year, if you can! So cheap. Thanks, Suburban Subaru. More

Can't believe the headache I have gone through with this place. I bought a car there about almost 2 months ago and it's been xxxx since. When I first came to them I had a 2016 elantra I wanted to with this place. I bought a car there about almost 2 months ago and it's been xxxx since. When I first came to them I had a 2016 elantra I wanted to trade in and my credit was around the six hundreds. Somehow they convinced me that it was okay to tell my bank to come get the Hyundai and buy a Subaru impreza from them. They convinced me that I was better off because the car won't lose value and I'm getting a better car for my money. I hated the elantra so I went with it because they said it was impossible to finance the new car with trading in my elantra. It was a stupid decision. I don't know much about cars to begin with or about credit and they assured me it wouldn't be that big of a hit to my credit. Since than my score has dropped dramatically almost 200 points because after they approved me with some bank they call me a month and a half later saying they had to get another bank because the deal fell through because they lied to the bank about my income. So I went back and signed for a new contract with same terms and length but now today months later 2 and a half to be exact I'm getting all these cr3dit inquiries that they keep running from not only the second lean holder I supposedly got approved by but from a couple other places so now I am super pissed off not sure what to do because I took a big hit on my credit due to getting that Subaru and giving up my other car and I hope they don't try to take my car from me. So people I gaur warn you pleas2d don't make the same mistake I made do not go there. More

I got out early and leased a second car with them in the hopes it was a 'fluke'... The car was fine but I spent 8 months fixing the mistake the dealer made in the registration that resulted in overpayment of car taxes by more than $2000!!!! Never again suburban Subaru... Very disappointing! More
Worst Christmas Ever This is a review basing my experience that I had with Suburban Subaru. I have bought two cars from them in the past. I bought one Nissan and one Subar This is a review basing my experience that I had with Suburban Subaru. I have bought two cars from them in the past. I bought one Nissan and one Subaru. I had one financed and one leased. I didn’t have a problem with the first vehicle. When I went and chose to purchase another vehicle promises were made and they had a hard time keeping them, however they did manage to keep their promises after a long and tedious back and forth process with them. However I was satisfied. This time is a new story. Back in February and March of 2015 I submitted a credit app on the internet and I had a vehicle in mind that I wanted to purchase. I had 2500 down for the vehicle and I was ready to go and purchase. I spoke with Jamie and he said that he was processing my application and they were going to take a look at the vehicle and tell me what it needed. Needless to say time went by and I never received a call. I had called a few times and was told they were working on it. So let’s fast forward. I never left a bad review for them on that and I thought that I would give them another chance even though they hit my credit multiple times. I figured maybe it was a heads up for me to maybe repair my credit a little more. I left it at that and didn’t do anything. Within the last week I have been working with Suburban Subaru in regards to a new application that I submitted. They hit my credit 2 times for a vehicle that I was interested in. They told me that I needed 1 800 dollars down. I stated that I had CLOSE to it at the time and might want to wait until February. So I was able to find a person that wanted to co sign for me. Then someone said that they would get back to us about the joint app. Well I called and spoke with a Britlyn and she gave me an attitude and basically gave me the impression that she didn’t want me calling and I was bothering her. Just to let them do whatever the heck it is they do. I was like ok. I wrote emails to the President Pete and the General Manager Lane. They said they had a plan and Jamie stated that he was CONFIDENT he would make it work for me. The plan was to get something for zero down or close to it. Jamie assured me he had a plan and was confident and also the manager Lane assured me the full force of suburban Subaru was working to try and get me a loan. Now this is all considering a year or so more ago I had to voluntary surrendered both my vehicles due to hardships in my life. The finance manager and the general manager were well aware of this. Why could they not have known I would be denied for a better loan than what they originally offered me? They have been doing this for many many years… My credit got hit WELL over 10 times. My credit monitoring service noticed a drop in over 75 points !!!! I am trying to rebuild credit !!! I feel like a bunch of credit reports were just run to show me that they were doing something when in reality they didn’t do anything that could have helped me. All it did was hurt me and the effort of trying to repair my credit for the last year and a half. I am now in a worse credit situation and DEFINETLY cannot get a loan anywhere without a large amount of money down. The sad part is I had most of the 1800 they originally wanted down, but they were not willing to work with me and see if it couldn’t be reduced the tiniest bit with the holidays so close. They claim that after hitting my credit well over 10 times and ruining my credit even more, I am still approved for a loan with 1800 down and to keep my head up and life will get better. Way to add insult to injury. I am extremely disappointed especially since they seemed so confident in being able to help me and get me into SOMETHING to drive to work so I can provide for my family before the car I am driving now dies. I am heartbroken and have lost most of my confidence since repairing my credit as much as I did after looking at the scores last night after all the hard hits. I wish this never happened. This was the worst possible gift someone could get at this time of year. Their credit being hurt bad was pretty much what I wanted for Christmas. And still no vehicle. This is NOT to bash you, But to tell you how I feel about my experience and let others know also how I feel after trusting Suburban Subaru. More
John 'Woody' Woodman made the difference! I've owned many cars in my many years, but my 2016 Legacy is the first new car I've ever owned. Most of my past dealings have been with private seller I've owned many cars in my many years, but my 2016 Legacy is the first new car I've ever owned. Most of my past dealings have been with private sellers, so naturally I entered the dealership with a lot of skepticism. My salesman, John 'Woody" Woodman quickly dispelled any worries I had, and turned the usually mundane process into a personable and enjoyable experience. The Legacy was only the 2nd car I test drove (the 1st being a Ford Fusion at Ray Seraphin), and while both cars were similar in many ways, the dealerships and salesmen made all the difference. I look forward to a continued relationship with Suburban Subaru, and highly recommend them and Woody to anyone in the market. More
Overpriced Cars, Shady Sales Staff My wife and I went looking for an XV Crosstrek. We had done our research and knew what they were going for and what they were priced at. When we ask My wife and I went looking for an XV Crosstrek. We had done our research and knew what they were going for and what they were priced at. When we asked for a test drive, the salesman took us out in a vehicle that did not have a window sticker with the pricing and options broken down. Having done our research on that model, we knew that the price on the sticker should have been about $27,000 (Limited edition, with some options) . The salesman proceeded to tell us during the test drive that he and his wife bought one and loved it. When we asked basic questions, he didn't know much about it (mpg, what side the gas tank was on, etc). He then said that models like the one we were in were going for $31,000 to $32,000 out the door, but that prices were negotiable. He told us if we offered $29,000, the dealership might take it. He then talked about how our trade in might not get much and to be prepared for a low number. My wife and I left without making a purchase. A week later, we got the car we wanted from another dealership for $26,500 and it actually had more options than the one we drove. The entire sales experience at Suburban Subaru felt like dealing with a sleazy used car dealership that was trying to get us to pay way more than market value for the car. Based on this experience, my wife and I will not be setting for on that lot again for anything, service or sales. More
