I will never forget my experience there when I was shopping for now 24 year old Subaru Forester. The salesman tried to strong arm me into buying from them. Would not honor the Triple A no haggle price shopping for now 24 year old Subaru Forester. The salesman tried to strong arm me into buying from them. Would not honor the Triple A no haggle price quote even though they had the symbol displayed. Also told me if I didn't buy there that the parts manager might not be to anxious to get me parts I might need in the future. Needless to say I purchased my Subaru elsewhere. Hopefully they are under better management today. More
I recently bought a 2024 Subaru Outback from Suburban Subaru in Vernon, CT. Everything about my transaction at Suburban was excellent from start to finish and I highly recommend them. I have friends in the business and know many of the sales tactics dealers use to maximize their profits. Armed with this "insider info" I go to the dealership prepared to negotiate and defer any upselling of unnecessary services. Suburban is the first dealership in the area that recognized this right at the beginning of the transaction and treated me with respect rather than disdain. The sales staff negotiated a very fair price for a car with me and did not push services and warranties I didn't want. I have never bought from the same dealership twice, however, the next time I need a car I am fairly certain I'll be buying it from Suburban. More

This is the second time, we have been assisted by this service technician, Keith, and both times - he was clear; educated us on the issues detected and on the suggested solutions. He is very knowledgeable on the brand, the models, and on what might be some of the issues encountered. 2. Subaru America & Suburban Subaru should promote this service tech, Keith, to "Chief of Online Service Support" to Subaru owners that would like to connect via zoom/video call with a technician prior to bringing in the car for service. 3. We are a nationwide subaru family with family in texas and california who are both subaru owners, but some of their experience with local service has not been as exceptional as mine. Specifically, my younger brother in Southern California took his subaru into the Santa Monica Subaru Service Center for regular oil change and other mainteance before a long family trip. After picking up the car, and heading on Highway 10 towards Palm Springs - he started smelling smoke and hearing a sound - bottomline was that the service tech who changed the oil did not tighten the screws and he was now faced with an emergency and had to go to a dealer in route by Ontario Airport where he had to leave the car for several days. So we are cautious about our car service, and that is why when we find someone as knowledgeable and helpful as today's tech, Keith, is important that they are recognized so they can help in train others nationwide. Just as an FYI - Unbias Review: We do not know, or are related to this technician outside of his servicing the car two times, today being the second time. More

Dealership service dept and sales staff have declined over the years.I don’t feel confident buying or having a car serviced there. Why? Because the owner has taken a step back and he ran a great qualit over the years.I don’t feel confident buying or having a car serviced there. Why? Service dept…….clearly trying to sell markup of what you do not need. Shop around ,maybe expecting good honest respect and service from a dealership is out there somewhere. More

I had been hunting online through your dealership and others. I had contacted Bobby Mack and he looked to see what was available. We set up an appointment- when I went in I expected to meet Bobby Mack, b others. I had contacted Bobby Mack and he looked to see what was available. We set up an appointment- when I went in I expected to meet Bobby Mack, but a nice gentleman informed me Bobby works upstairs and he set the appointment up with me. That was John Woodman! I am so glad he did!! When I told him what I was looking for as in a vehicle, used, low mileage, etc, he told me the original car Bobby had mentioned was no longer available due to a vehicle defect. He told me to hold on and he would be right back. He was back shortly with a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. He asked me to test drive it. It handled beautifully, just as I remembered my Mother’s had. I was doubtful I could afford it. He soon showed me it WAS possible, and I signed paperwork that day. My friend was very surprised!! I had always wanted one as I had driven my Mother’s as well as my Mother-in -laws Subaru!! John was no where’s near a pushy sales person. He is a real stand up guy and I’d send anyone looking for a car to him!!! I am looking forward to my dealings with you all, as you are a friendly bunch to deal with. Thanks so much Bobby and John for your wonderful help. I am very happy with my Subaru Crosstrek!!🤗 Before I left John came out and made sure I pumped seat up so it DID look like there was a driver in the seat. I am way too short!!😁 More
