Treated horribly I went in to there with a promotion to test drive a car and receive a gift card. From the moment I walked in the door, I met Jamie Waters and I was treated with contempt and disdain like I was "just wasting their time." They arbitrarily set hours they redeem the promotion and I was not within those hours. I explained I legitimately was there to try a vehicle, and was told by Jamie that "Tell you what, if you buy a car from me, I'll validate your promotion.". So I guess I wasn't outside their promotion hours after all. After being talked to rudely enough by the Jamie, I asked to speak to the manager, and met Jeff Bushar. I was there with a legitimate curiosity to learn more about Hyundai, and the promotion did it's job getting me to come there, which is the point of it. I thought that speaking to the manager would clear things up from the rude treatment I received from the front, but man I was wrong. I was once again dismissed as an annoyance, and when I explained that I wasn't there to waste anyone's time, I legit wanted to try one of their vehicles, Jeff then gave me a backhanded-apology, saying "He's sorry I was spoken to like that, but they get 100 people in the doors a day wanting the promotion and he gets to set the hours in which it is redeemed, as well as WHO he gets to redeem the promotion with." So you would think Hyundai would be happy to get 100 extra chances a DAY to convert people to their cars, but rather their salespeople would like to treat anyone like dirt and dismiss them without even asking me ANY questions other than "You got a coupon right?" I explained that I thought he'd like to know the treatment his customers are getting from the front desk, and he curtly told me, "Oh I am well aware of what's going on." So he must be perfectly fine with this treatment! I politely tore up my promotion, told him that him and his employees succeeded indeed in changing my mind about Hyundai, and left. Unfortunately, they changed it to never to bother walking in those doors again. I have NEVER left a car dealership feeling the way I did, and will be making sure their corporate office is aware of everything. What a jerk! More
