I would like to thank Mike, the Service Director of Waterford Suburban Ford, for getting in touch with me within hours of seeing my review. He did tell me that scheduling for service on vehicles is backed up, but I was misinformed as to how long it would take for the repair. He assured me that the department that handles scheduling for recall repairs were going to be informed that they need to know how long recall repairs were actually going to take. He did actually listen to my phone calls and is aware of how I was talked to. I had already made a call to Dean Sellers Ford in Troy and was told I could just bring the car in anytime and it would take about an hour for the repair. Since Mike did get in touch with me so quickly, he told me to bring my car in the next day to Suburban and he would personally take care of the repair. I did take it in and he had me out of there in 25 minutes. Hopefully, this situation being brought to Mike’s attention will prevent this from happening in the future.
