Everything about my visit was good, except the price...$20 to rotate tires in addition to the cost of the oil change? Now if you had at least vacuumed the drivers side of my vehicle I'd give 5 st price...$20 to rotate tires in addition to the cost of the oil change? I recently purchased a 2016 Camero SS, 7/30/20 from this place. At first I thought this is great. They even touched up what we saw to just be a few cosmetic issues with the rims all until I started driving place. At first I thought this is great. They even touched up what we saw to just be a few cosmetic issues with the rims all until I started driving it back home to Fayetteville, AR. On the way home it started vibrating some and I noticed it shifting hard. I called the salesman who sold me, Steven Degraffenried, the vehicle and he told me to take it by a Chevy dealership and have them check it out since it was still under warranty. So within a couple of days of having it I took it to George Nunnanly Chevrolet in Bentonville, AR. After a day or so I go and pick up the car where they informed me they flushed the transmission fluid but also said that the vibration was due to two bent rims, one on the front driver’s side and one on the rear passenger side. The service manager says I’ll make sure it’s all on the ticket so they can see. So, I call Steven once again and after a heated discussion and him trying to weasel his way out of doing anything he transfers me to Ron. After words with Ron which was once again a tap dance around trying to do the right thing he tells me to bring the car back so they can have their people look at it because they don’t trust this other Chevrolet dealership. We take off work once again, not getting paid for the day of course, and drive over 97 miles to Suburban Chevrolet they take the it back and after a while they bring the car up front and say “You’re good to go.” We had to ask what did y’all do to it? They said oh it was just out of line and the rims aren’t bent so we aligned it. So we ask for a ticket detailing what they did. With the massive amounts of weights on the rims now and the car still vibrating we decided within minutes that we were going to take it to a third party. On the way back Steven called and asked how’s it drive? At that point I inform him that I’ll be taking it to somewhere else to get it checked out and you could here it in his voice the sound of I know there’s about to be a problem we’re caught. I took it to a tire shop, Tire Tracks, to look at the rims. They then confirmed everything George Nunnanly had said and in addition informed me that one of the tires had a “hop” and heavy wear on the inside due to the state of the rims. So at this point it’s confirmed that not only did they sale me a car with bent rims and sub standard tires and immediate transmission issues despite the car supposedly going through this rigorous 100 plus point inspection, yeah right, but when confronted with their mistake they lied and tried weaseling their way out of it making their customer drive what ultimately could’ve have been an unsafe car. I had to contact a guy named Brian who was the service manager whose name I had to get off a survey they sent after they lied the first time. Once again it was not an easy conversation despite two different documented sources saying the exact same thing. We were even looking at lawyers and we let them know it. Rather than expediting the process by ordering two new rims and replacing the tire they insisted on searching around for a while until they found some used ones. Today I drive back 97 miles once again missing work, costing me money once again to Claremore, OK. They do put two rims on the vehicle. Not once did the salesperson come out and apologize for their mistakes or for them lying. Also they did nothing to the tire, but it’s certified right? Certification means nothing with these people. They do not stand behind what they sale and they will flat out lie and try to cover up anything that will cost them a penny if they can rather than conducting business ethically. I’m writing this in hopes of helping the next person that comes along looking for a vehicle so hopefully you don’t have the same problems by avoiding this place all together. I will be posting reviews through other sites as well along with pictures of the service records to serve irrefutable proof chronicling the deceitful, dishonest dealings of Suburban Chevrolet on any site that will allow it. The 2020 Chevy Suburbans airbags do not work. I was in a front end collision going around 35. My airbags did not deploy. I took my claim to GM and after three months of investigation and no vehicle. Bait and Switch with a Bandaid on a 2019 Chevy Suburban LS We found the car we wanted on Autotrader. It was listed on Autotrader and verified on their website for $48,645 with the MSRP being $51,645. We went We found the car we wanted on Autotrader. It was listed on Autotrader and verified on their website for $48,645 with the MSRP being $51,645. We went to the dealership and meet Jake. We was a very nice salesperson who quickly had the process started. We were trying to trade in 2 cars for one. He found the SUV we were after and got the ball rolling. Jake was very friendly and helpful. He worked with us while we had two of our kiddos with us. In hindsight the only knock would be he didn't give us exact numbers for the trades. Only said they would only be able to take our truck, not our older SUV. That was fine. We agreed to a monthly price, but again no mention of the sales price changing. I asked what the trade value on my truck was and was told mid-30s. We had previously been offered $33,450 at CarMax, so mid 30's sounded more in line with what we wanted. We asked if there were any other offers available, as the Autotrader ad said $3,600 off MRSP, which would have been $48045, or $600 less than the advertised price. Jake brought his mangers number saying $958 a month. Again we asked if there were any other discounts, etc that were available. We were told there were not. Off to the finance person Vince. Vince was kind enough but ever the sales man. After saying we did want warranties, etc, he launched into a 15 minute spill on warranties and what they do. We declined, he pressed as to why. We agreed to GAP and then he offered to get us TPP for $5 a month. No mention of total, but we were financing for 84 months, so we assumed a $420, $5 a month times 84 months, right? Nope. Once the warranty talk was over, Vince gave us papers to sign. I was curious to see exactly how much my trade got. I was happy to see it was $35,250. We thought that was very fair and assumed the truck will be resold in the low 40s. We signed and that was it. Jake gases up the new car and we were on our way. The next day I went to file paperwork at home and fully rad through everything. This is when I found our mistake. When we meet Jake we told him we wanted to the 2019 Suburban LS that was listed for $48,645. Now the sales price on our bill read $53,140. A $4,495 difference.. We were given a $1500 factory rebate so the total cost was $51,640 or $5 more than the listed MSRP after the rebate. So I call and ask Jake but dont hear back. I call the General Manager and dont hear back. The next day Vince calls me and tries to explain. You see the $5 a month warranty actually was $1500, not $420. That was never expressed to us. But even taking that into account the sales price of the car was still $1500 more than the listed price. When asked Vince went into a spill about how you never really know how much a used car is worth, etc etc, Except again Carmax had just offered us a 7 day price of $33,450 which doesn't require us to buy a car. Yes, we had negative equity but we would have simply paid the difference to the bank. That was incredible to Vince that it could be done. Had we known we could have taken the car to Carmax and received $1200 more than what Suburban Chevy was actually offering. Then I was told well, your trade wasn't really worth $35,250 it was worth $32,250. Again this wasn't told to us during the purchase of the car. So it turns out the extra $3,000 that was added to the sales price was done by the dealership to make up for the difference in trade. They said they were giving us $35,250 but in reality it was $3,000 less. Because we had made it clear with the right trade in price we wouldn't do it, they bait and switched us on the prices without informing us. Vince and I discussed this via the phone. He said he understood by concern and would speak to the owner about it. He replied 15 minutes later via text as I was in a training stating "He said that technically the deal is final. Both parties signed binding contracts, but on the other hand, he didn't want us to have a bad taste in your mouth, so he is willing to cut you a check for $500 to use for TT&L or whatever we'd like." We figured at least we got part of our money back, so we agreed to the $500. We should have caught this error before we signed. Thats on us completely. We signed and we are actually very happy with the SUV, just not the fact we missed being tricked out of $3000. But again, thats on us, we should have read all the details closer and not trusted the advertised price of something is actually the price. That said, I think this experience will be our last with car dealerships as a whole. !00% we will purchase a car online or through a bot like our places. This car dealership is un-honest and deceitful. They used a bait and switch move to "show" us we got what we wanted on our trade, while increasing the price of the car. $500 was the best we thought we could do after bluntly being lied to, but now I'd guess the owner may have offered more to try to make us happy. How knows. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO SUBURBAN CHEVY AGAIN. AND TRULY WE MAY NEVER SHOP AT ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AGAIN. TURNS OUT $500 DOESN'T FIX THE TASE IN YOUR MOUTH THEN YOU WERE CONNED OUT OF $3000. We gave it one star b/c it would allow us to give zero stars. Suburban Chevy should make this right and refund the entire $3000 and pledge to be up front with customers moving forward. Is the car sales game so competitive that the only was you can make deals is by misleading and lying to people. Chevy, is this really who you want selling your cars? More
