Brought my car in to have the blinker light replaced. Took a little bit for someone to acknowledge me at the service desk, although there were 5-6 guys working there. Light was fixed fine. I had an appointment, it still took over an hour to get my car back, which seems a bit long for just a blinker light. They took it through the car wash and when I went to drive it home, I noticed there was a piece of the car wash rubber scrubber stuck under the molding on the side of the car. It had gotten caught in there and popped part of the molding off. So, I went back in, found my service guy. He came out and looked at it right away, had me drive around to the back to the body shop, where we waited a few minutes to see Eric Bourdage, the Body Shop Manager (he was with another customer). Eric looked at the molding right away, said it would need to be replaced and they could do that tomorrow (now today.) He said they could come & pick up my car at my workplace, to avoid the inconvenience of having to bring my car back, which I appreciated. Eric also taped down the molding with duct tape when I mentioned I was worried one of my kids would catch their pants or leg on the edge getting in & out of the car. Overall, everyone was very nice and apologetic and I will return to Suburban Chevrolet. But this particular experience was frustrating. More

I continue to bring my vehicle in and the problems still exist. I brought my Tahoe in numberous times to have the Rear Defrost Tab re-stuck back on window...it continues to fall off, even though we do not exist. I recently brought in my Tahoe to have tires rotated. Dealer did not reset tire pressure monitor system, had to come back. After it was reset, upon my drive home, the Park Assist feature did not work and I've been told it's a short. I fully believe this short was a result of the work done due to the tire rotation. Kelley was a courteous service manager to deal with and has offered somewhat of a resolution to my park assist error, but I am still not fully satisfied with the level of service I am receiving. More
I could not understand why there was not a more specific diagnosis of my car's issues, especially the cause of loud noise in the front end. Also, I know and believe me understand, that it was extremely busy the day I visited but it took an hour and 15 min to do a simple oil change/filter? I was also told that my recommended reapirs were not warrantied(without anyone even checking that I know of)and that forced me to call Ryan Chev where I bought the car. On the other hand, Ryan's service people told me to bring the car out there and they would figure it all out and give me a loaner car for the night and moreover, thought any reapairs very might come under my extended warranty.So right now I will abstain from recommending Suburban Chev for service until I learn more from Ryan. We had an oil change and two items that we wanted looked at by the mechanic. He informed us that the collant leakage problem was a recall, and would be repaired that day at no charge. Had a scheduled Oil Change and tire rotation (smart care coverage #818603765). When I drove in I noticed I had a headlight out on left side. I ask if they could change it while doing oil change, and how much it would cost. Robert Kincade, my service advisor, said it would cost about $50. I ask why so much. He said the cost of bulb + labor. I ask how much is the bulb? He said about $20 or $30. I said which is it $20 or $30? He said he would have to check with parts department. I said I would change it myself. While I was getting oil change I went to to dealers parts department and ask the cost of bulb for my truck. He looked it up (Bulb # 9006) It was over $20. I decided to buy it at a auto parts store. After oil change, and tire rotation, which your service department does a great job. I went to Midas auto part store and ask for bulb for my truck. They came up with same bulb as your parts department (#9006) Price less than $9. (it was the same bulb, not a knock off) I went home, read truck manual and put in my truck in about 5 minutes. It was very easy. I'm sure your service people could have put in in less than 2 minutes, while changing oil or rotating tires. And I believe your service advisor also must know how easy it is to change a bulb. Why quote me a price about $50. And your parts department charges over twice the amount as a competitors parts department. This is the third time I had issues of trust with your department. Check my records. 1st time service department called me and want me to put in new motor in power windows, while changing Battery, there was nothing wrong with power window when I brought it in. 2nd Time while getting oil change on my 2009 Cobalt, I ask for a quote on some miner damage to front. Body shop quote was over $3000, I put a claim, to my insurance company, and went to there body shop. They did it for $1400 , and I canceled claim and paid it all ( had $1000 deductible) I bought a 2007 truck, and a 2009 car at this dealership, because of your sales department, and your location to my home. I question where I will buy my next vehicle. Jim More
