They both had business going with other customers (another buyer and a new car delivery) so they took turns helping me find and test drive the right vehicle. I purchased a vehicle and the purchase process went smoothly including a very good finance rate. Service after the sale was also top notch. I had a missing floor mat in the back seat and also had a starting issue that turned out to be a loose ground connection on the battery. Shane and Nate made sure both issues were resolved quickly. Since my vehicle was used, there was no original window sticker listing all of the options. Shane took the time to e-mail me the build sheet that listed all of the options on my vehicle. Great buying experience. More
Smooth Operator (in a postive way!) Shane Lynch was very easy to work with. When I first drove into the dealership, he was the first sales person to approach me and he did not judge. He Shane Lynch was very easy to work with. When I first drove into the dealership, he was the first sales person to approach me and he did not judge. He knew I was very tentative, but his calm, no pressure sales approach really attracted me to buy. I never once felt pressured. These other reviews are very spot on. He really is that good! I would not hesitate to refer my friends and family to Shane or to Suburban Chevrolet! More

Nasty, Snide, Dishonest Sales People My daughter was looking for a car and needed me as a co-signer. I have bought over 20 cars in my lifetime. My daughter found a used Mazda at this S My daughter was looking for a car and needed me as a co-signer. I have bought over 20 cars in my lifetime. My daughter found a used Mazda at this Suburban Chevrolet in Eden Prairie. She dealt with a salesperson named Jack. Unfortunately she fell in love with the car, because he was very snide, and made numerous false representations. He claimed the vehicle had been inspected by his service department, but when we asked to see a copy of it all we were presented with was a work order receipt of an oil change and a light bulb being replaced. Along with it was a blank checklist of items on a car--not signed by any mechanic nor filled in. Then they lowballed my daughter's trade by 35% in comparison to see other trade-in appraisals done by other dealerships. When we told this salesperson we wanted to think about it, and list my daughter's trade in on Craigslist--and then get back to him, this salesperson got in our faces yelling at us and asking why we came in to waste his time if we weren't serious. We did leave the dealership and my daughter talked to a co-worker that evening who agreed to buy her car (for a price where the other 3 dealerships had appraised her car, and more than 50% over the price Suburban Chevy lowballed her on). Therefore my daughter called Suburban Chevy back and told them she would come in the next day and sign papers to buy the used Mazda from them. When I was with her at the dealership both her and I filled out a credit app. I had to cosign because her credit is not good. Mine was pulled and my score was 830. We were putting down over 60% of the sales price of the car--only financing 40%. We were told a payment and the interest rate would be around 4.5%. That was acceptable to me, because that was in line with the other dealerships. However, when I went back the next day with her to sign the papers to my shock they were going to charge her 8.99%. I knew darn well the dealership was charging her over the par rate, to make an additional profit. If it were up to me, I would have run and not walked away from the deal. However, I went out to the waiting area and explained carefully to me daughter what was going on. I told her the extra interest would cost her about $1000 over the term of the loan. Even though she understood she was being screwed with, she loved the car and felt paying on the loan would raise her credit, so it was a price she was willing to pay. Though I disagreed with her decision, she is an adult and it was going to be her car and not mine. As a final nail in the coffin, on the loan note we were signing, in the fine print which the finance guy, Matt, did not want me to read, it said specifically the dealership had a right to charge a higher APR then the lender and profit from it. When I brought this up to Matt, to let him know that I knew what he was pulling, he responded with yet another lame lie.To top it off, he then got real unprofessional making snide and disparaging remarks about the profession I was in. A lot of class--all of it 3rd! Hopefully the vehicle doesn't turn out to be a lemon for my daughter's sake. If it had me being the buyer, rather than my daughter, I wouldn't have let my emotions override my decision. All I can say is that in over 40 years buying vehicles, from some good car dealers and some not very good at all, these guys were the most unprofessional and biggest fairy-tale tellers I had ever dealt with!! This was my first time car buying experience and the staff are EXTREMELY unfriendly, not only do they not care how you are treated. But once you buy a car they throw you aside and do no give 2 cents on staff are EXTREMELY unfriendly, not only do they not care how you are treated. But once you buy a car they throw you aside and do no give 2 cents on any issues you may have. If you are looking to buy a new car, RUN. RUN in the opposite direction of this dealership and go to any other chevrolet dealer..Unless you liked to get screwed over, over charged and thrown aside after they get their money. More
