Bought a new XT4 a month ago. Has a horrible rattle in the dash. I was told they would need it for 3 days. It has now been a solid week, and just got a call that it's done. Brought my 2022 Colorado in for an oil change after two hours the oil was finally changed and The truck was on the ground with the hood up for another hour no less than half a dozen people walked over to t hours the oil was finally changed and The truck was on the ground with the hood up for another hour no less than half a dozen people walked over to the truck and we’re looking under the hood. Three service advisors went over to the truck to find out what was going on and disappeared. Never to return. Finally got the truck and was taking it out the driveway only to find the check engine light was on. Mediately returned back to the dealer when they looked at it. They said an oxygen sensor was bad maybe coincidental maybe not. The service advisor said it would be OK to drive it since they couldn’t fix it that day, five minutes down the road the check engine light came back on the traction control light came on and the engine started misfiring so much for the idiot service advisor. I always had good luck at this dealership when it belong to the Rampys … SUBURBAN was a slip way downhill and now whoever took the dealership over within the last year or so is really terrible. I will never go back there again and here’s why… I immediately took my truck to another Chevrolet dealer to have it serviced.(The oxygen sensor) I told the service advisor what had happened at SUBURBAN Chevrolet informed me when his technician looked underneath the hood of my truck. The whole engine was covered with oil and the truck was almost a quart low on oil now I understand why it took so long to receive my truck from SUBURBAN, they had Some foul up during my oil change and neglected to tell me about it or even clean it up And then to top it off, leave my engine almost a quart low on oil? Absolutely unacceptable. The other Chevrolet dealership cleaned and detailed my engine and no extra charge added the correct amount of oil at no extra charge and repaired my oxygen Sensor which was under warranty. They were absolutely fantastic! I asked the service advisor at SUBURBAN. What would I have to do to get the premium level of service that I expected from a dealership? Would I have to drive a Cadillac? (Since they also sell Cadillacs) The service advisor informed me that the people that drive Cadillacs get the same level of service I do. Which I responded. I was glad to hear people that drive Cadillac get GET THE SAME LEVEL OF CRAPPY SERVICE I DID!! sUBURBAN has gone way downhill. They are deceiving and deceitful and flat out lying people. they take advantage of unsuspecting people that do not have mechanical backgrounds.. So sad! More

My 1 star review is for my purchase with the sales team in 2022. Terry Olson, and I believe Ian, as well as the finance manager were helpful. This dealership had stock when my family urgently needed a vehi in 2022. Terry Olson, and I believe Ian, as well as the finance manager were helpful. This dealership had stock when my family urgently needed a vehicle and nowhere else did. I would have easily given more stars, but the service department ruined everything else. The primary issue is they have horrible communication skills. I have waited, in the service department for hours -because they quoted me hours- when my car was already complete, and no one called or came to the waiting area to announce it was ready. That sort of thing is hit or miss, sometimes they’re on top of it. They don’t seem to be prepared for shuttle service versus demand. When asked for shuttle, the driver was doing a parts run to Novi; I had to inconvenience family to pick me up. When asked for a loaner, “we don’t do loaners.” What? Really? Most recently, I brought my vehicle in for standard mileage service, oil and rotation, plus two other concerns. One of which was handled. The other, after two days, could not be replicated, but upon driving away, it was certainly still there. Two days later, I experienced major failures on my 2023 model vehicle. The next day without an appointment I dropped it off. I heard the manager say it would get looked at that day, and then got denied a loaner vehicle again because they “didn’t have any.” This time the shuttle was available. Two and half days passed and never got an update. 3.5 days I finally got through on the phone to be told they lost power 24 hours ago after a storm. One week later MyVehicle app showed me the car had hadn’t moved in as much time, much less been turned on. I showed up to move my vehicle to another service center. The service manager told me the car had already begun work, the part was ordered, but without power, they hadn’t been able to work on it and promised to call me the next morning. 2.5 days later, no call. I called all afternoon and no one answered. I picked up my car 10 days after dropping it off to take it to another dealership service center. I called them, and they already set my expectations for a timeline without even having my car. More
I’m having an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with this dealership! I DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. I dropped off my car for service SEPTEMBER 27, 2022 and still do not have my car back! I was told that my car dealership! I DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. I dropped off my car for service SEPTEMBER 27, 2022 and still do not have my car back! I was told that my car would be fixed within 2 days. THIS IS NOVEMBER and I’m still car-less. 1. They told me the manufacturing company would not cover a manufacturer’s issue if I took the vehicle somewhere else for a second opinion before letting Suburban Chevrolet proceed with repairs. BS!!!! 2. The “case manager” who is supposed to be in touch with me DOES NOT communicate. Lecia Thornton dodges my phone calls constantly, and no matter who I leave messages with in the service department, they do not return my calls or tell me what’s going on with my car. More

Incompetent and dishonest Check their Yelp reviews. The many negative reviews you see are for a reason. Amazingly bad - I do not doubt any of the many reviewers that claim t Check their Yelp reviews. The many negative reviews you see are for a reason. Amazingly bad - I do not doubt any of the many reviewers that claim they were ripped off by this dealership. Their service department is a bad combination of incompetence and dishonesty. We've had repeat visits for the same issue and then they charge for the same work twice if they can get away with it. They do not return phone calls and when you do talk to them, you'll get different stories depending on who you talk to. They have charged us for work which we later discovered was not even performed, and they will even charge you for work which was not authorized but then refuse to release your vehicle until you pay them. Our own recent experience borders on fraud and we are going to have to go back to the credit card company to get our money back. The only people that are going to be happy with Suburban is someone that buys a brand new car every few years and doesn't have any trouble with their vehicle. Anyone that needs any kind of service or customer assistance after the sale is going to be shocked at how badly the service department operates and how poorly this dealership is run. And make no mistake - they WILL lie to you without hesitation. Buying a used car from them is out of the question and you will see several reviewers that got ripped off by Suburban on a used car, as well as by their service department. There are so many other dealerships, it's hard to imagine why anyone would go there unless they just didn't know. Read the other reviews - we are not just isolated unhappy customers. There is a pattern here. More
Find another dealership! She couldn't answer most of my questions and was very short with me. I decided to not drop my car off there after speaking with her. I called the dealership today and found out the General Manager has the same last name,...turns out it's her father! If he wants his name associated with that dealership, he probably should consider removing his daughter! Dusty's, here I come! More
