I had to bring my new Saab in for paint defect on the trunk and he helped me get it fixed. I was super happy with the paint and couldn't even tell where it was fixed. Everyone in the body shop was really nice and when I picked up my vehicle they had detailed the inside and out which was far beyond what I had expected. I have been to other body shops in the past and this is the best experience I have ever had. I would recommend them to anyone who expects quality and good service. I have had my Saab 9-3 serviced at Suburban since early 2006. They have always done an excellent job, which paved the way for me to go there for various services before and after the warranty period. I had the most interaction with the Service Manager, John Millard. He has been very courteous, honest and very attentive to my needs with the car, and very resourceful as well. I'd highly recommend the Services Department of Suburban-Ann Arbor for a job well done in every aspect. More

My experience with this dealer began when our two vehicles required body repair. I think it was Mike Butler (from Suburban of Troy) told us to check out Suburban Ann Arbor (our kid's went to gymnast vehicles required body repair. Both mine and my wife's car needed work and I made an appointment for repairs and ventured out to Ann Arbor. The entire body repair team went above and beyond to make sure our vehicles were fixed very economically, perfectly and quickly. They made sure we had a loaner as this was not covered under insurance and coming out of pocket. I informed them that I would definitely return to buy a vehicle. The body shop had Rachel Beck contact me. Rachel worked around my schedule and would send me vehicles to preview online. This went on for almost two months. When I was able to narrow down my search Rachel invited out to test drive a few vehicles. I had driven over my Jeep (my lease from another dealership), and figured I would have a decision made in about a week. We passed by a Blue Malibu on the way to a White Malibu to test drive. I stopped her and asked for the keys to the Blue one - I knew that would be the vehicle. Fast and efficient - I test drove the vehicle for about ten minutes. Two hours later, my lease was returned and I was on my way in my new (used) car. A week later I received some awesome cookies in the mail from Rachel - a great way to sweeten the deal I already had. I will definitely return to Suburban again for my next vehicle. More
All three purchases with Suburban Saab (and its predecessors Gordon Saab and Goodman Saab) have been pleasant low-hassle situations. They definitely aren't trying to sell cars at MSRP with ludicrous add-ons. They don't even push extended warranties and the other rip-off extras, though they're willing to sell them if you want them. Generally service has been good. I'm living with two minor things (noticed by no one else) because the service department can't figure out what I'm talking about with the sunroof not shutting completely (which can bring excessive wind rush over 80)... That isn't something that detracts from enjoying the Saab, but it does make me a little more wary of their service department. That said, everything else they've fixed very well over the years. While slightly hesitant, I'll probably buy my next car from them as I have my last three. Though if a dealer opened in Plymouth or somewhere else nearby, I'd certaily explore. More
