Service Disappointment When I leave the dealership with a list of 'recommended' maintenance, and that list includes something the manual says is needed in 100k more miles or When I leave the dealership with a list of 'recommended' maintenance, and that list includes something the manual says is needed in 100k more miles or 6 more years from now, I can't help but feel taken advantage of. Unfortunately, a complimentary charging station, snacks, water and wifi, doesn't make it okay to falsely 'recommend' service to someone. Talk about feeling like a woman that the dealership totally tried to take advantage of. So, before you allow this dealership to 'recommend' any service, I'd suggest doing some simple research online.. or in your owner's manual. I expect a dealership to charge me more for service, or for OEM parts but it's not okay for a dealership to recommend service that is not even close to being recommended by the manufacturer. It is not okay to take advantage of women that visit the dealership. More

But Suburban Cadillac Plymouth was always professional, went out of their way to make it easier on me, getting me loaners, bringing them to my work. Eventually, they replaced the whole car with a 2017 model, and they made sure I got what I wanted. New car is superb right now. I'll drive across town to see Suburban. More
Warning! I went to this location because my car was saying low oil pressure when I would press on the break, even though I recently had an oil change. Also I wanted them to check out the steering wheel, which would get tough and say “service steering system" and then when I turned the car off and back on it would go back to normal. The woman I spoke with told me that you have to pay for the techs time to look at it no matter what, and that that money would be put toward any repairs. It was $125 an hour and it would take 3 hours. I came back to get my car, they told me they couldn’t find anything wrong with the steering wheel, and that they couldn’t find any oil leaks. So all they did was give me an oil change and said that because I took it to a random oil change place they must have not put enough in. So I ended up paying $375 for an oil change! Two months go by and the low oil pressure is coming back on. I take it back and she tells me that they think there is an oil leak and I would have to pay for the techs time to look at it. I said “I do not feel that I should have to pay for the techs time because I paid for it last time and they said they couldn’t find one!” She said okay they would look at it. She then calls me and tells it is leaking oil and coolant, and it would be $5,600 to fix. I come to pick up the car and ask for a detailed estimate that breaks down parts a labor. The man I spoke with was extremely rude and said “What she didn’t tell you how much it would be?” I said “yes she did, however I would like to see what the cost entails, do you not do that?” He then told me it was too late and he would have the lady I spoke with previously email me the estimate. She sends me an email that literally says: Seal oil and coolant leaks: $6,400. Really? It went up $900 overnight… no breakdown of parts and labor. I took my car to Ford and Wayne auto shop in Westland. They fixed the oil and coolant leaks, and my steering system (which even the dealership said they couldn’t figure out what it was!), parts and labor included $1200. They are extremely rude, unprofessional and they take advantage of people. More

They gave me a 12 month warranty on their parts and labor. But a few weeks later I noticed the motor oil kept getting low. I took it to my local mechanic, one look and he said it was burning oil. I took it back to Suburban Cadillac. Told the guy behind the counter what was going on. Said they didn't have any time to look at it today and to leave it overnight and they'll see what they can do. Then he hands over a bill of $100 that would be charged for diagnostics. I told him I just had it repaired and had the receipt with me. Then he says to me "I think we only fixed the timing chains on your car. This isn't covered" BEFORE I SHOWED HIM THE RECEIPT! I never met this guy during my previous visit for repairs, how the xxxx would he even know anything about me, my car, or what they did. Then after I showed him the receipt and the long list of parts and labor he says "Well, if they don't find anything you'll still have to pay the bill" in a snarky manner. I was upset but I wanted my car looked at since I had already driven up there. I asked him if they lended out courtesy cars and without a moments hesitation said "We do, but we don't have any right now. We have list where you can sign up for one." Fine, could you offer me a ride home? "Well which one do you want? A ride home or a courtesy car?" As in I can only choose between a ride home and a courtesy car that doesn't exist. I sat around waiting half an hour for the courtesy ride to appear, that was conveniently away with another customer, before I just upped and left with my car. These guys are a bunch of snakes in business suits out to suck you dry. They did everything they could to push me out of there just they could skimp on their warranty. I would give them a negative rating if I could. God knows they deserve it. More

About 3 weeks ago I had made an appointment to get my Cadillac serviced for a service light that appeared on my screen. The service department fixed the problem and Now this week they told me I may need additional work done on my car HOW???? They just want to rip me off and get my money since I'm leasing my vehicle. The Service department said I have to pay for the work I need I'm wondering how when I'm still under my miles and you guys are not FIXING the vehicles the right way, that's why I'm having so many problems In the first place. This is exactly why so many vehicles are being recalled for different stuff because they are worried about making money instead of fixing the problem. Bye Bye Suburban Cadillac of Plymouth I'm going to a dealership that is trustworthy and concerned about me and the safety of my vehicle . P.s. I will be letting customers and family and friends know to go somewhere else to do business. More

I had serviced the ESV at Novi and Ann Arbor in the past, however I was so impressed with Plymouth that I used them to fascilitate the end of lease purchase of the truck. Sales team was exceptional. Scott and his cohorts were quick and convenient. Great place and cool coffee machine. It makes anything from coffee to fancy coffee drinks. A Fantastic Dealership I visited Suburban Cadillac to an oil change. I asked that my driver side tire also be checked because of a seemingly slow leak. When Ms. Knox-Marino came to the waiting room, she informed me that there was an unrepairable nail puncture in my tire. I decided to replace it immediately. I mentioned to Ms. Knox-Marino that I had an extended warranty on my SRX. She mentioned that normally the coverage was not for maintenance, but would check to see if I had added tire coverage. I was elated that at the end of my service visit, Cheryl told me that she easily reached the Easy Care company and learned that my tire cost would be covered. Another wonderful visit to Suburban Cadillac Dealership! I set my reported dirty fluid change needed alert immediately for the following week. Ms. Knox-Marino made my day with her quick professional assistance. More
