I can’t say I was treated poorly, but I don’t feel that I was treated well either. I didn’t come away feeling that there would be any reason for me to return to buy another car there. Dealer is not willing to bargain around reasonable true value price of used cars, and the sales people have absolutely no power deal or agree to any proposal without running to the sales manager, no matter how small the value of the proposition. I doubt I’ll go back there. More

I had problems with the car the night I drove it home. brought it back the next day. They changed out some fluid in the transmission and said that would fix the problem, but I may still hear noises for a few days while the fluid works itself in. What a load of crap that was. The car progressively got worse and had to bring it back 3 days later. Then then kept my car for 4 weeks where the only communication we had with them was when I called them. Actually getting someone to talk to was another challenge. I was put on hold and disconnected from, nobody returned voicemails. This happened on multiple occasions. When I happened to get someone in service on the phone, I was given a different story from the last time I had talked with somebody. I was also assured that my 1st months payment would be reimbursed since I did not have my car for the 1st month I bought it. That never happened. Nothing but lies from everyone including the general manager. Unless you are looking for a lemon, save your time and aggravation and go somewhere else. These people are a poor example of what a Subaru dealership should be. More
Great experience on getting a used car seen on cars.com I saw a new car listed on cars.com and called the number from the add. I was nicely greeted by the front receptions, Patience and directed me to sales when I came in. Neil Peabody was my salesman and I didn't get the feeling he was pushing me in any specific direction. I came in with 2 cars I've been searching for the past few months, used Focus, Mazda3 and Elantra. All in the same category and I came across Carbone in Troy for a Focus and Mazda3. Neil showed me the Mazda3 but there was no cruise and that was a dealbreaker for me. The Focus on the other hand is really the car I wanted as I had own one before. Low gas mileage, comfort, good drive and some decent features like cruise control, Bluetooth, above average sound system. This car had everything I wanted and we both came to a agreeable price. The wait time was reasonable (it always has taken me a long time and this was like my regular typical wait time). Sale went very smoothly and Neil took care of us and was sensitive to our needs and addressed them all. All-in-all a great buying experience and would recommend. More
Price match liars I called and asked if a set of car mats could be priced matched. I was told yes. Sent my boyfriend to pick them up, and it took the guy twenty minutes I called and asked if a set of car mats could be priced matched. I was told yes. Sent my boyfriend to pick them up, and it took the guy twenty minutes to come back out from doing his so called research. The mats 79.99, quality Subaru sells for 59.96. Charles says bc quality Subaru would charge shipping he had to include it in the price even though carbone Subaru of Troy has a pair in stock. Says he couldn't give it to him for that price. Well how come when I called quality Subaru I asked if I came to your store to pick these up would you charge me shipping? I was told no just 59.96 plus tax. Yesterday was my 1 year anniversary from buying a car through this joke of a place. I know now to just stay away, and never come back as well, don't tell me one thing and turn on what you actually said. More

Promised several things after the sale, none of it was followed up on, staff from salesman to finance manager would not return calls or emails, until they realized they needed me to sign more paperwork because they screwed it up, then they were all about finding me. I have bought from Goldstein Subaru and I felt not only that I got a better deal but staff were way more professional. Do yourself a favor, just go there and skip Carbone, you will thank me later. More
VERY DISSATISFIED Title says it all. DON'T BUY from Carbone! Poor service and no response from service to discuss the mechanical issues they said needed to be fixed.. Title says it all.
