Worst service department ever I bought my Subaru almost seven years ago from Subaru of spokane and have had multiple problems with their service department over the years. It all f I bought my Subaru almost seven years ago from Subaru of spokane and have had multiple problems with their service department over the years. It all finally came to a head this year when we bought our second Subaru from them and had to have it towed in twice for repairs in one week, within two months of our purchase. But that's my husbands story to tell. My problem with them is that I paid for the life time oil changes thinking I would get a Subaru oil filter, but no they use a generic filter which is harder on the car when it starts because all the oil drains out of the filter when it sits, unlike with a Subaru filter which holds oil in it. I have to pay extra for a Subaru filter! Then because they assume I'm a "dumb" woman they tell me things need fixed, but when I leave and then come back for my next oil change with out having fixed those things, miraculously they don't need fixed anymore. One time they even told me my break fluid needed changing (which my mechanic had just done) and when I enquired as to why it needed changed they fessed up that they wanted to change it because it was a generic fluid! This coming from the place who gives me a generic filter! The last straw for me though was when someone called me from the service department and was rude to me when I tried to explain our situation with my husbands car. Then when I went to the delership the manager refused to come out of his office and talk to me like a professional manager would have. I will never recommend this dealership and they will never touch my car again. More
great service at a great price. What a good job. Had my oil clanged and tires filled with lots of time to relax and enjoy the day after the service is done. What a good job. Had my oil clanged and tires filled with lots of time to relax and enjoy the day after the service is done. More

I really did not have time to research price ranges for the work done on my car. The price however was in my expected price range, so I had the work done. More

worst dealership nightmare of my life!!! Just over a year ago my wife and I bought a 2005 Subaru of Spokane. it had high mikes which was a concern I was assured that i had just received a new Just over a year ago my wife and I bought a 2005 Subaru of Spokane. it had high mikes which was a concern I was assured that i had just received a newer motor and everything else had been gone through Therefore this vehicle would be "trouble free", and were also told b repeatedly that they "stand behind their work and if anything went wrong that we would be taken care of! the minute we left the dealership the car started having issues, Big Ones! We would take the car in for repeairs and they would try to charge us to repair it, worse yet their incompetent mechanics broke other things and ignored major issues with the engine so that they wouldn't have to pay for it. This car was in for major repairs almost monthly. well almost a year after purchasing the car ithad a major issue that has resulted in over $5500.00 worth of repairs to the engine that were all due to broken engine parts that were ignored as well as the motor had been installed improperly by Subaru of Spokane. all told in fifteen months the car has had close to $9000.00 in total repairs!! Spokane Subaru and John Lefriec have not only showed no willingness to correct the situation, they actually told me I was Stupid for believing that they had any integrity!! Avoid this place at all costs, they are absolute crooks!!! oh and several the good reviews that they received on this page were from employees and family members. like I said Crooks! More

A year ago I bought some tires that were recommended by a Subaru customer service representative. As noted, they have given me exceptional traction and confidence during the winter months and are comparable to the factory tires. When I needed my driver's side mirror replaced, it was done the day I set up the appointment. That's what keeps me coming back! More
I bought a used low mileage Jeep at this dealer and the salesman Eric was amazing. However 6 months later at 37,000 miles the transmission completely fell apart from the inside out. It was towed to another salesman Eric was amazing. However 6 months later at 37,000 miles the transmission completely fell apart from the inside out. It was towed to another dealership due to Subaru being closed and they told me that having had this vehicle such a short amount of time that there was no way the service dept at Subaru did thier inspections of it because it should have been caught at that time. I called Subaru and they knowing my situation and thier roll in this still quoted me higher then anybody for the transmission repairs. I went elsewhere and the day after I got the new transmission in the car the engine started misfiring. I went into the Spokane Subaru dealership and talked to the guy that sold me the car and explained to him the problems I was having with it. I told him I wanted paperwork proving that it had been inspected before purchase and he said no problem with that. He wanted me to talk to a manager and I waited around with my children for the manager. When he came out he was extremely rude, not even allowing me to talk. I asked for the paperwork and he made all kinds of excuses on why I couldnt have that proof. Everytime I would open my mouth to talk he would quiet me. I have never dealt with somebody so rude in this buisness and we buy a lot of new cars. I still do not have the proof I am requestiong. I will make sure nobody I know goes into this dealership. And I will make sure that the way thier people treat the customers and the quality of thier cars is known. More
I just want to point out an out of the ordinary experience I had with your dealership. I had an unexpected service issue happen with my 2006 B9 Tribeca on 5-7-2013. I stopped by your dealership ( experience I had with your dealership. I had an unexpected service issue happen with my 2006 B9 Tribeca on 5-7-2013. I stopped by your dealership (for the first time) to see if they could help me with a leaking radiator. Tim Prevett personally came out to examine my vehicle, which I thought was great, and offered to top off my coolant because it appeared low. Tim checked again in the shop and was able to locate a tech who would be wiling to examine my vehicle more thoroughly. After examination it was determined that the problem needed immediate attention. Without Tim taking this time to care for me and the pride he takes in his job, this could have cost me a lot more and obviously caused more stress for me. I want to make sure Tim is recognized for what he did and how he made me feel. This is how businesses earn customers for life. Jeff Kollmer 509-279-9107 More
