The right thing to do is take responsibility for the actions of the dealer and its employees. My husband and I spoke to the sales manager and the owner, with no resolve. BUY the vehicle back for what is owed. I understand everyone needs to make money to pay bills during this tough economic climate. That doesnt mean you should take advantage of your customers just to makr a sale. If the sales staff would have been honest, I probably would not have purchased the vehicle. Though, I would have been able to consider this dealership for future purchases. My son has a WRX 2020 which we purchased from Ocean Subaru. This was an excellent experience, unlike Subaru of San Bernardino. Zoila

Good morning Zoila, I hope this finds you well. It is to my understanding that the day you came in, you had already done your research and knew exactly which vehicle you were here to purchase. We has reserved this particular vehicle for you. Please keep in mind, Subaru has not yet released their a full EV vehicle. Your Crosstrek Hybrid is a plug in hybrid electric vehicle. It has a total range of 480 miles using both the electric and gas powered engines and 17 miles of all electric driving; giving you a total range of 90 MPGe combined city and highway. Please keep in mind these numbers come directly from Subaru of America. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to consider a buy back. I. Am sorry you were missed informed. I have been.looking for an EV plug since December of 2021 becasue i needed a commuter vehicle that would give me good gas mileage. I reviewed many vehicles such as, Tesla, Toyota Rav4 hybrid plug in and Lexus NX 450h, which was just released. I saw a hybrid plug in Crosstreck at the mall and decided to come i nto the dealer to get more specifics since it was just released. The rrason why I didnt purchase the other vehicles is due to mark up pricing. As you can see how the employee's twist things to their convenience. Anthony (sales), provided my husband and I all the stats. He even assured us he had one in stock and supeisingly it was sold as soon as we got to the dealer. I live 30 minutes from the dealership. I was dissatisfied that he lead us on and the vehicle was sold in that time. I guess this is hownyou.get people.to the dealership and lie to the customer. It was clear from the start what I needed and it is evident I was just another customer that was mislead. In circumstances like these , the customer is the one who has the most to loose. Buyers beware.
