BEWARE BAIT /SWITCH DISHONORABLE PEOPLE RAY AND JR. You knew we are already on our way driving from Castaic /Valencia to your dealership as I told you that in our email. Instead of replying: “ ask for JR” when we arrive why can’t you just say wait stop don’t drive until I verify. Why answer my emails if you do not want to work on your day off? I don’t know who this JR is and he is not my contact and he did not honor the OTD price of $25K you promised. What pissed us the most is that he was rude and arrogant and tried several times to kick out my son then me because we were upset and helpless. Who wouldn’t be after what you did to us? Upon arriving JR Nguyen told me he just sold the car at 6 pm but couldn't prove it same as the white EvO my other son wanted to buy but he keeps saying it is sold. We saw the silver Crosstrek and JR was trying to sell and switch it to us ( got copies of his attempt ) and this was all yours and his plan to bait and switch us from the start from a Premium to a Limited. The Finance manage even murmured why you did this and that Sb cannot do this even for a Premium. By the way kicking your customer out because I sensed this bait and switch tactic is unacceptable and the tactic is illegal. We drove two cars with the family excited to take home a cross trek for a HUNDRED miles for nothing. More
DISHONORABLE DEALERSHIP I was looking forward to be part of the subaru family and the outback was going to be my first subaru car. Unfortunately, I chose a dishonorable car s I was looking forward to be part of the subaru family and the outback was going to be my first subaru car. Unfortunately, I chose a dishonorable car salesman and dealership to workwith. 1. Refusal to honor an emailed quote they provided. Why do they even provide a quote if in the end it will not be honored? A basic Bait and switch sales tactic. DISHONORABLE! I wasted 8 weeks of my time. I could have ordered and bought my car from a reputable dealer. 2. Eddie lopez internet sales : He kept my wife updated thru text and email about the outback, even giving us the VIN number and date of delivery of the car that was ordered in our name, but failed to informed us of the price increase until the end. He kept insisting that the price increase was insignificant. GREED!. We even volunteered to place a deposit, but was told by eddie lopez that "it is not necessary since the car was ordered under your name" and that "the only way the car will find another home is if you decided to cancel your order" and he even added "I believe in KARMA". Eddie lopez deliberately MISLEAD us. I myself also believe in karma. 3. Russel ball - sales manager: Eddie asked us to contact Russell to inquire about the price increase but when I called him, he claimed to have A. No knowledge of our car ordered thru eddie. We volunteered to forward the emailed quote and the VIN but he refused. B. Stated the he does not have any deposit and credit application from us. Even though we volunteered to place a deposit but was refused by Eddie. For the credit application, we were pre approved from our credit union. And we were never informed that it was mandatory nor asked to apply for one. C. Russell ended our conversation by telling me that he will call me back when the outback had arrived. The car arrived and had been sold to another customer, but still has not received a call from him. So did he really intend to call me when the outback arrived? or did he just want to dismiss me when I spoke to him? DISHONEST! In fact, after I spoke to him on December 29 the next news I received was from kelly of Subaru of America (customer representative) informing me that the car has been sold to another customer. I know this is just a single transaction from a potential customer, but I really do believe that this is a reflection of the sales team and subaru of san bernardino core values ....DISHONESTY and GREED. I am sharing my failed car purchase experience from subaru of san bernardino to social media for any potential customer be forewarned of what to expect from this DISHONORABLE DEALERSHIP. More
