I bought a 2017 Subaru Impreza 2. 0i last Sunday 11/24/2004. At the end of the test drive, when we were almost back to the dealership, we were on rougher streets and I heard a noise co 0i last Sunday 11/24/2004. At the end of the test drive, when we were almost back to the dealership, we were on rougher streets and I heard a noise coming from under the hood. The salesman and I both acknowledged the noise, but the salesman assured me the car had been fully inspected and there was nothing wrong with it. After I purchased the car and got near my home where the streets are not new but has rough surfaces and the noise was more apparent. I had my own mechanic do an inspection and he quickly diagnosed it as a bad Sway Bar Link. I contacted the salesman and he reported the dealership will not fix this issue. Also, the strut tower was missing caps, and when I bought the vehicle the strut towers were filled with water which is totally rusted. The salesman did pay for the caps out of his own pocket but the tower is still rusted. All in All simple repairs like Sway Bar Link and strut tower caps should have been repaired before selling the car and so far the response I'm getting is they are not going to pay for the repairs. On the day of the sale, the salesman acted as if he was giving me the deal of a lifetime and had a good attitude. The next day when I began to report issues, he displayed no concern for my reports, an attitude, and a lack of patience/respect. Today my car is at the service department after I spoke to a sales manager over my concerns about the noise/sway bar link and he told me to bring the car in. The service rep is telling me that the sales manager has refused to pay for the issue to be fixed and my car has been there since 8:00 AM, it is now 12:00 and I'm still waiting for a diagnosis, and as I mentioned the sales rep told me the sales manager has said he will not pay for it. So Far I am seriously regretting dealing with this dealership and not so happy about my purchase as I should be. More

Subaru is a great car. My first Subaru was the Crosstrek Limmited and now the 2025 Forester. I like them both, however, the Forester is more me. Subaru of San Bernardino was the best dealership I have ever dealt with for car repairs. Their customer service is well above the norms that I had come to expect from a car dealership. They went above and ever dealt with for car repairs. Their customer service is well above the norms that I had come to expect from a car dealership. They went above and beyond any expectations I had when taking my car in for warranty repairs. More
The dealer will sneak in "optional" things such as alarms and dent insurances you don't need or want. Make sure you catch it ahead of signing. Read everything even if it takes a lot longer. Its thousands you and dent insurances you don't need or want. Make sure you catch it ahead of signing. Read everything even if it takes a lot longer. Its thousands you can save yourself. More
I’ve bought several new cars over the years, and this was the worst experience I’ve had so far. The process took several hours, and the salespeople misrepresented several things about the add ons. I ended the worst experience I’ve had so far. The process took several hours, and the salespeople misrepresented several things about the add ons. I ended up getting a partial refund after saying I was going to open up a complaint with Subaru headquarters but other items were never followed up on. Also, after receiving a low offer for my trade in (which I expected) the second sales person came over to me and said I could sell it to a family member of theirs for more than the trade-in offer. Very unprofessional. More
