Very disappointed with this dealership new advertisement on their ‘express service’! On their website they said no advance schedule needed for oil change however when we get to the dealership service center on their ‘express service’! On their website they said no advance schedule needed for oil change however when we get to the dealership service center, they told us ‘no walk in due to lack of staff and now you have to find oil change elsewhere!’! This is completely false advertisement and waste customer time! More
I've been in and out of countless dealerships since April 2023 looking for a new car since my daily was showing signs of aging. Puyallup Subaru restored my faith in dealerships. I found the car I wanted with very low miles and a clean carfax report and reluctlantly made an appointment. On arrival, the car I came to look at was sitting in a little bay, ready for me to test drive it. They even had my name on it :) Spencer Adam met up with me and went with me on a test drive. Spencer is young but very professional and comfortable to talk to. I don't know what training he received, but he handled himself very well. I gave him a chance to sell me the car and he took it. He listened to everything I said and respected my decisions if I refused a service add-on. There was no pushiness whatsoever. There was no hidden agenda. He let me look and test the car however I wanted. Honestly, I wanted to purchase the alarm system not because I wanted it but because Spencer's genuine persona was hard to say no to. Let it be known that he wasn't pressuring me. He just had a very likable personality. When I waited for my financial documents to finish being prepped by their finance advisor, Spencer made sure all my needs were met and would periodically ask if I wanted any snacks or drinks. It was a bit awkward since I'm an introvert and would prefer to wait for my documents to finish by browsing the internet or something lol, but nonetheless, he was making sure I was taken care of! Due to my prior experiences in the last 5 months, I was so thankful to actually be enjoying a visit to the dealership. I'm planning on coming back here for my next car when the time comes. They stress "no-pressure sales" and they live up to it. Spencer called almost a week later and left a voice mail to check in and see how I'm liking the car. This is the first time I've had a dealership call me back to "check in" on me. Thank you for restoring my faith in car dealerships. Thank you to Spencer for being my salesman and thank you for my new 2015 Subaru Legacy!! I LOVE it! More

Sales Consultant Kyrsten Blair is tops, as she filled in for Chad during his summer vacation, assuring that I was continually informed of the status of my custom order Forester, from the production date in Japan right up to the hour it was delivered to the dealership's lot. Their delivery follow-up service is the best anywhere, providing a personalized appointment with Brian Fuller, a specialist in all aspects of any new Subaru. Brian's explanation of every button and beep that is part of this new generation of cars brings the technical complexity down to a typical user's level where you can understand the value of the total package. All in all, Subaru of Puyallup is a great place to buy a car. More

On Friday my wife and I went to buy new cars for the both of us. Shortly after driving my new car away from purchasing at this dealership, it began having significant this dealership out prior to working with them. Shortly after driving my new car away from purchasing at this dealership, it began having significant mechanical problems, cutting power while driving which is largely considered to be unsafe. I gave this dealership the opportunity to handle the warranty work even though it's out of my way geographically. Given the positive sales experience I had, I expected service would take good care of me. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. I took a drive with their technician and was able to demonstrate the issue. They wanted to get a Subaru engineer involved yet after 45+ days, the car still behaving badly, and me having to chase their service department for updates, I still had no appointment with an engineer. I contacted Subaru of America Customer Advocacy yet the dealership refused to work with them in helping me resolve the issue. Multiple documented messages left over several days for their service manager, Jerad, requesting information were not returned. Without information from service, Subaru could not render assistance to me. I went to general management to escalate but was stonewalled by them as well. The last straw was when the service manager wanted me to bring the car back because they needed to do additional investigation before the engineer would see the car. I suspect I was being manipulated and put off, they were not organized or interested enough to help, and I admit to simply disengaging at that point, sensibly choosing to work with another dealership to save myself further time and aggravation. Finally, the dealership I'm working with now can't find any documentation regarding the diagnostic work I had performed at Subaru of Puyallup in the national database yet I have time stamped and dated hard copies sent to me by their service manager. My experience with this dealership has proven to be professionally and ethically questionable. More

She arranged a hold on the car I was interested in and, when I had to change the appointment, she took care of that, too!
