The good: Yan met my daughter and I at the airport in Tampa. We got a great deal on the car. The car is in excellent condition. The bad: Yan (sales person) didn't communicate with Joe (sales manager). Tampa. We got a great deal on the car. The car is in excellent condition. The bad: Yan (sales person) didn't communicate with Joe (sales manager). Joe had sent the paperwork to me by express mail. I had everything signed, returned, and ready to go. All I was supposed to do was give the dealership a certified check, get the keys, paperwork, and go. When we got to the dealership the car wasn't ready. Yan didn't know that I'd already sent in the paperwork and didn't know where to find it. The car hadn't been detailed yet and Yan said they wouldn't do it until I completed the paperwork. He said he couldn't ask Joe because he wasn't coming in until 11am. Finally, they got a hold of Joe and he must have let Yan know where the paperwork was. After 4 hours of waiting we were supposedly on our way. Yan hands me one key. The listing showed two. Yan says he only has one and he doesn't know where the other key is. Then we find out the battery in the key is almost dead. I had to buy and install a new battery before the fob would lock or unlock the car. I don't know who dropped the ball here, but if things had been done correctly I would have been given two working keys and we would have been on our way in 15 minutes instead of four hours of confusion. Yan and Joe need to communicate. If they had, everything would have probably worked out perfectly. Yan was polite and friendly, but needs to communicate better with his sales manager. More

The sales guy Malvin lied about the process. Many times I said I don’t want to sign any more papers until we negotiate a price. He said that this is preliminary. You can at the end. Well once in the finance room the finance guy said well you signed all the papers agreeing to the price. Long story short we worked it out with a manger. This made the process much longer than needed wasting over half a day. Overall I’ll never buy another car or even recommend Subaru of north Tampa or neighboring dealerships they own based on the sneaky lying tactics they pull on the sales side. More
