DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT I got my first ever car at Subaru of KA and told my salesman Cody Helton that the ONLY way I would buy this car (a manual) was that the CLUTCH WOULD B I got my first ever car at Subaru of KA and told my salesman Cody Helton that the ONLY way I would buy this car (a manual) was that the CLUTCH WOULD BE COVERED under the warranty I was purchasing. I told him I wanted whatever warranty covered my clutch because I don't know how the owner before me handled it. A couple months after I bought it, my clutch started to slip. I called and spoke with the finance (who obviously didn't know what she was doing) to try to have her pull up my account. She told me that my clutch was not covered. This was my first experience at my car dealer, so I had no idea what I was doing, and my cosigner (my grandmother) was the only person allowed in the finance office with me, not my fiancee who deals in finance and would've been able to catch them ripping me off, so when I confronted my salesman about it, I was given the run around and was finally told "I never said that" by my salesman. That was my ONLY condition to buying the car, and I was assured that it would be covered. Now, my clutch is out, my brakes (which also wasn't covered under the extended warranty that I was lied to about) and my tires all need replaced less than a year later. Do not, I repeat DO NOT PURCHASE FROM SUBARU OF KINGS AUTO. TURN AROUND AND RUN. More

A very pleasant experience I put off buying a new car for over a year, mainly because I can't stand the games that are common with some dealerships. But from the moment we arri I put off buying a new car for over a year, mainly because I can't stand the games that are common with some dealerships. But from the moment we arrived on the lot, the whole experience was completely awesome. We found a car we liked, took a test drive, and told the salesman there was another brand we wanted to compare. No pressure - he just handed us his card and said to call if we had any questions. A couple of hours later we were back, this time to buy. There was none of the traditional haggling, The salesman showed us the dealer invoice and asked what we had in mind. I knew what kind of discount to expect, so I made my offer accordingly and it was accepted. Financing was equally pleasant. We got a great interest rate, and no hard-pressure upsell on things like extended warranty, credit life, etc. We picked our payment option, signed a few papers, and drove home. In less than two hours, these folks earned my business and when I think about buying a car again, I'll be back. This is the way it should be.
