I spent over a month working with numerous dealers in the greater Boston area looking for a very particular car, and I wanted that car at the best price available. After running back and forth from dealer to dealer to dealer comparing prices against each other, and pushing them to lower the price on my vehicle, I was grossly disappointed. Each dealer told me the other one was crazy for quoting me such a price, and that there was no way anybody could make money on the numbers I was showing. TrueCar was also a bust. All the dealers offered great prices, but the prices only applied to in-stock cars, which they conveniently had none of. I happened to see a listing for the exact car I wanted at Subaru of Keene, and decided to give them a call. I spoke with Mark Carey originally, who told me that the specific car I was inquiring about had been unfortunately sold only a few days before. Mark did, however, inform me of a very comparable car still remaining on the lot. I told him about what I wanted to pay, and he said he would work with his sales manager to get me close to that price. After two quick attempts over the phone, Mark called me back, and told me to check my email with an OUT THE DOOR price quote on my car. When I checked my email to see the price, not only was I shocked that a dealer provided me with an out the door price on my vehicle only having spent ten minutes on the phone with me, I also saw that this price was significantly lower than anything any other dealer had quoted me. Unbelievable--Mark gave me the best price I had seen in over a month and I had never even set foot in the dealership. As a check, I called the only other dealer I had a good experience with (even though they didn't have the car I wanted) and asked them if they could beat the price if they happened to get the same car in the next few months. The dealer I phoned told me that there was no way they could beat the price I was getting. I was happy. The next day, I took a ride up to Subaru of Keene. Since Mark is the internet sales manager, he set me up with Mike Babineau, a floor salesman. Mike is not just any floor salesman, but a salesman who actually drives the car I was buying. Mike is not the usual grimy new car salesman, but a polished knowledgable resource on the particular car I was looking to buy. We went for a test drive, and I loved the car. When Mike and I returned from the drive, Mark came over to introduce himself and thank me for making the 1.5 hour trek to Subaru of Keene. Because Mike had already quoted me an out the door price, there was no negotiating, no headache, and no showroom drama. Mike started all of my paperwork, and the car was ready for me to pick up the next day. When I picked up the car, Mike took the time to make sure I understood some of the vehicle's more advanced features without going through the boring details, or reading me the owners manual. I have purchased or helped others to purchase at least three cars in the past five years, and the experience at Subaru of Keene is miles better than anywhere else I have ever shopped for a vehicle. The employees are informed, courteous, respectful, and are willing to fight the big bad sales manager to get you into the car you like at the price you want. I have every intention of continuing to buy vehicles from Subaru of Keene. More

Everyone was polite and well-informed. Absolutely no pressure to buy. We called Monday and drove away with a car on Wednesday with very little interruption in our lives. My first attempt to order a new Impreza was not a positive one. I went to a different dealership (NOT Subaru of Keene) and walked away feeling rushed, pressured, and frustrated. I went in to obtain information about the car, and the salesman actually went to Google to show me pictures, which I could have done from home. When I explained I didn't want to place an immediate order after he was unable to provide me with new information, I was quickly dismissed. Fortunately, I came across Subaru of Keene after that initial experience. The dealership had created a wonderfully informative website about the '12 Imprezas that provided much more information than the actual Subaru site. It really helped me decide on options and ensured I found the perfect fit. I initially corresponded with Bryan Sicard via email, and he was very helpful and quick to respond to my inquiries. When the car arrived, my experience continued to be great. Bryan was very helpful at every turn, answering all the questions I had and he seemed very eager to help me. What I appreciated most about him was his very "genuine" approach, which is not what I've come to expect at a car dealership. It means a lot to talk to someone and feel like they're listening! I will be happy to refer friends not only to the dealership, but to Bryan in particular. Top notch service! More

He even contacted us when he was out sick. after giving some options we agreed on a price and I was contacted by Dan (Sales Manger) to answer any questions and let us know what was needed. When Im wrong I certainly am the first to admit it, and I was wrong on my first assesment. This is a 1st class dealership, I was very surprised how accomadating they actually are. He absolutely did not pressure me to buy from him, but rather provided me with valuable information about the status of the Imprezas. If you are considering purchasing a Subaru I would highly recommend Keene of New Hampshire. It's worth the little extra effort to go out of state and get great customer service!
