Not fixed I have an older Subaru. Recently there have been some issues with the headlamps. The high-beams indicator occasionally comes on even though I may not I have an older Subaru. Recently there have been some issues with the headlamps. The high-beams indicator occasionally comes on even though I may not using the headlights. If the headlights are on, the high-beam indicator seems to knock the regular lights off. This was explained. The Rep agreed that it sounded like a short in the system. This was explained. After service was performed I was told that two lamps were replaced, a third was needed but not in stock. For several days everything appeared OK. But five days later the issue started again. Even with new lamps, the high-beam indicator will come on and the headlights go out. I guess I will need to take the car back in, or else take it somewhere else. More

Subsequent to the free inspection, the service writer recommended $1,327.91 in additional services. Considering I’m a senior citizen 🧓, I actually thought it was rather low. That did not include his recommendation to replace the air and cabin filters that I had replaced six months and 4,500 miles earlier. He said they were already getting dusty; I replied we all were.
