Went to have my car checked due to some noises that appeared to be transmission related, they confirmed specific items relating to the transmission needed to be replaced as well as a list of additional appeared to be transmission related, they confirmed specific items relating to the transmission needed to be replaced as well as a list of additional items that would need to be completed. My vehicle is under the 5 yr 60,000 mi warranty that includes everything powertrain related, but for some reason they stated that the oil pan leak was not covered underneath that and attempted to state I would need to pay over $1,200 to get it fixed. We brought up the warranty multiple times and they were adamant that the oil pan was not part of it. On the Subaru website regarding warranties for 2020 vehicles it states the following: Powertrain Coverage Components: Engine; Engine block and all internal parts; Cylinder heads and valve trains; Oil pump, oil pan; Timing belts or gears and covers; Water pump; Flywheel; Intake and exhaust manifolds; Oil seals and gaskets While I appreciate the work that was completed on my vehicle and believe it was done well, I am incredibly disappointed in how I was spoken to and treated regarding the oil pan leak. More
