I have been a Subaru owner since 2017 and recently purchased another Subaru Crosstrek. My 2018 Outback is having issues since last year and it has been a nightmare. November 2023 : TPMS light on - t purchased another Subaru Crosstrek. My 2018 Outback is having issues since last year and it has been a nightmare. November 2023 : TPMS light on - took the car to dealership several times and they were not able to fix it. March 2024 : Outback servicing and spent $800 on recommended servicing. August 2024 : my daughter took the car to Nashville and the car started showing check engine, when she took it to Nashville Subaru they claimed service was not done right in Atlanta. Again in few days same thing, took the car back about 3 times. Late September she even paid $200 for diagnostics to find out nothing is wrong with engine. October 2024 : I bring the car back to Atlanta and the check engine light comes back on. Took it to dealership again and they sent me a recommended repairs for about $8000. That’s when I decided to just bring the car back because I was totally confused with inconsistency. Spoke with service manager Mike about my concern and according to him “ let’s just change the battery and I will clean the leaks and then we will monitor and I will use 50% off coupon and all that. We decided to change the battery and 2 other things, end of the conversation I asked him “ how much will all that cost me?” And he wrote $710 on my invoice. Two days later when my husband went to pick up the car he was charged close to $1400. So you see I have totally lost trust in that dealership. How do you sent repairs estimate of $8000 and then decide we don’t need all that and then quote one price and then charge another? It seems like you are making the customers pay for your brand new state of the art facility. Did I make a mistake by buying another Subaru? More

I was told my issue with losing oil was nothing more than needing a replacement PCV valve. I was also told (and charged for) topping off all my fluids. One week later my washer fluid light is on, and 2 month needing a replacement PCV valve. I was also told (and charged for) topping off all my fluids. One week later my washer fluid light is on, and 2 months later I’m on my 3rd bottle of oil added. I called, but no callback. Someone else will help me, because apparently it won’t be them. More
