I purchased a 2024 Forester today from the new sales manager Wilson and Rick his sales rep. I can say, without hesitation, that Wilson the sales manager of 2 months, Rick, Juan and Kelly made the transa manager Wilson and Rick his sales rep. I can say, without hesitation, that Wilson the sales manager of 2 months, Rick, Juan and Kelly made the transaction an unbelievable new car purchase. I am 80 years old and have purchased only one other NEW car from a dealer. The last new car I purchased was a Subaru from another dealer. The experience was a pleasant one. But it did not compare to the experience satisfaction, price or value of today's purchase. I live 140 miles away. I stopped into the dealership to purchase a gallon of coolant for my wife's 2022 Forester. I mentioned to Wilson that I would have a 2024 Forester, but the dealer in my town offered me a ridiculously low trade-in on a new one. Wilson asked what I wanted for a trade-in value. He had a potential buyer from 140 miles away and did his best to make sure I bought a car. I walked in for a $32 gallon of coolant and walked out with a $40,000 new car. I'm not sure where the dealership found the new sales manager.....but they better hang on to him. More
I cannot emphasize how much you should AVOID this dealership and its unprofessionalism. I have worked in law enforcement for 13 years and have never seen a level of incompetency from one company. I purchased gap and a mechanical warranty from the dealership in 2021. I traded my purchased vehicle in 2023 to another dealership and contacted Bloomington about the refunded I was due since I did not complete my contracts. All I wanted to know was the process of getting my refund and when it would arrive, THAT’S ALL! Unless you are buying a car from them, they will not return your call or emails. This started in October of 2023, and I finally received my refund check today, 6 months later! I had to get Subaru corporate involved, and Bloomington would not even return their calls and emails. The Subaru corporate agent I spoke with has been on this case with me for over two months and has never seen anything like this. The people to avoid at this dealership (If you must go) are the following: Juan Prado (Finance), Wilson Johnson (Quit I think), Nick (A manager), Matt Bachara (General Manager), Joe Fasanella (Executive Manager) and Joe Sasanella (May have spelled wrong, Executive Manager). All of the above (Except Matt on one single occasion) ignored all of my phone calls and emails. Jose would only call me back when the District Sales Manager was notified of the issues I was dealing with from the Subaru corporate agent. I hope this dealership tries to dispute anything I have mentioned since I have kept all requests for contact information. And finally, thank you to the receptionist Kaylen for all the calls I made to the dealership, she knows exactly how much headache I had to endure. More

He took the time to listen to our questions, and he worked tirelessly to ensure that we boomers were comfortable with all the new car technology before we drove away. Michael was patient and understanding, and he always made sure that we felt comfortable and in control of the process. Throughout the entire car-buying process, Michael was professional, friendly, and attentive. He was quick to respond to my calls and texts and even made a special sign for my wife! More
A few weeks ago my husband went in just to have a batter replaced. He sat 2 1/2 hours for an appointment that should have taken 30 minutes. Today, he again went in for a SCHEDULED appt for warranty brak replaced. He sat 2 1/2 hours for an appointment that should have taken 30 minutes. Today, he again went in for a SCHEDULED appt for warranty brake work. After 2 1/2 hours AGAIN, he was told they didn't have the rotars in. This was a SCHEDULED appt so wouldn't you think they would have checked that BEGFORE scheduling. And, yes he kept cjhecking to see why the long wait. Horrible customer service! More

Poor customer service I was looking to replace our Forester 2002 and was considering the new hard to find 2014 Forester. Having communicated by e-mail, Matt Kimmey from Sales called me and made an appointment for a test drive of a just arrived Forester 2014. Mr. Kimmey had arranged with Scotty another salesperson to be available for the test drive. At 7PM of a Summer evening of August 20th 2014 I kept my appointment. Yes, they had a 2014 Forester. Mr. Kimmey was not aware that Scotty had to leave early. Having explained that I had an appointment at 7PM for a test drive, I was surprised that no one took the effort to assist. Finally after about a 20 minute wait one of the newer Salesman ( 3 days on the job) and was looking for the keys to the vehicle only to discover that one of the Grossinger mechanics took the keys home to the only 2014 Forester - What if a customer wanted to drive that ONE forester home that evening? More
