While I did shop around to other locations, (i.e. Garavel Subarau in Norwalk, and Rye Subaru), this was by far the best customer service experience. I did receive great service, (via email communications) from the Norwalk dealership and horrendous "service" from the Rye location. Needless to say, I ended up leasing my vehicle from the Stamford location, along with some other colleagues. The consistently high level of service was not limited to just Bob, but everyone else I encountered along the way. Can't say enough great things about this place. The associates here seem genuinely happy to be working here and I can see why. More

for Service - Stay away from Stamford Subaru I recently took my WRX for an OIL CHANGE and they gave me back the car with the engine, traction control lights on and cruise control messed up. when I recently took my WRX for an OIL CHANGE and they gave me back the car with the engine, traction control lights on and cruise control messed up. when I asked them about the lights, they insisted in offering me to do a cylinder compression test which would cost me around 350 instead of checking what they did wrong. I asked for the manager which was never available to talk to me to understand the issue, he neglected completely my presence. I asked to talk with the mechanic who worked on the car and they didn't let me talk and they made a fuss about it - I wondered why.When it comes to service, consumers like me are not protected. I know the car very well to the point when I got home I checked if they unplugged anything, sure enough I was completely right. I read the Subaru guide book and some google search I got my WRX fixed. Subaru Stamford owes me back my time spent there to resolve the problem they created. It is a very poor service and bad business ethic to sell me service I didn't request after they screw up my car.PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE AT STAMFORD SUBARU AND I WILL NEVER GO THERE EVEN IF I HAVE TO BUY A CAR. More
