So bought a used Jeep Wrangler. Before I test drove the dealership replaced the battery. We finished up and went to leave and vehicle would not start. So technician who replaced the battery earlier said the battery needed to be replaced again. We noticed that the manufacturer date on the supposedly new battery just installed was 2019. When I showed the technician he acted like not a big deal at all. Sorry that was a pretty old battery. Well we had to wait at the dealership and extra few hours while we waited for the battery to be delivered then installed. Got just about home and the breaks started to shimmy and burn. Took it to brake facility next day and ended up spending $800 on breaks. Apparently the calipers were sticking and caused the pads and rotors to crystallize. Got a call from dealership setvice dept to follow up on our experience. I explained all and she said she would have service manager call me within 2 days. He never did. I did receive an email from service manager asking how was experience so emailed him back explained situation and how he was supposed to call me. A week later still no response. The dealership says they do a 100 point inspection so they must have missed the breaks.My issue is Service Manager did not bother to call me. Not impressed with the customer service More

Do yourself a huge favor and stay FAR, FAR AWAY from Subaru of South Tampa. UPDATE : The following weekend, we went to Subaru of Wesley Chapel. Got a Crosstrek Limited for our son and my former wife and I each got an Outback Touring XT. Three cars and better deals than Subaru of South Tampa. South Tampa’s loss ended up being our gain. More

I had a strange experience with this Subaru Dealer this weekend. I've been looking at buying a '21 Subaru Ascent Touring for a few weeks now. Finally got ready to pull the trigger and booked a fligh weekend. I've been looking at buying a '21 Subaru Ascent Touring for a few weeks now. Finally got ready to pull the trigger and booked a flight to go pick up a CPO Ascent that I had been looking at for a while. Got a text this morning that they went to go get the car washed before my arrival and saw they the sunroof had a crack in it. I thought this was strange, since it's a CPO I figured it was damage free. I figured that they would just replace it before I got there. I asked the salesman this and he checked with his Manager and told me that they are wanting me to pay to fix it. They claimed that because it happened after the CPO certification was done they are not responsible. I told them that this was ridiculous to ask that I pay to fix something that I didn't own yet or had even driven yet. I said I would still be happy to purchase given that they discount the cost of the repair so that I can get it fixed when I get it back home. They said the part was around $350 but couldn't do that because the vehicle was already priced too low for them. Anyways I cancelled my flight and put in a call to Subaru of America to let them know that this dealer was trying to sell me a CPO vehicle that was damaged and not fixing the damage. Given that it's a holiday weekend they said that would get back to me next week. I then got on the phone with the used car manager at this Subaru dealership again and I tried to explain that it was in his best financial interest to fix the damage and sell it to me. They are going to have to fix it if I don't buy the car anyways or they are going to have to remove the CPO title which would decrease the value of the car. He didn't seem to recognize this and when he found out I had called Subaru of America he hung up on me. I also got 2 different stories about how the damage was done. The Salesman said that it was storm related. The Manager said that it was someone in the hotel across the street with a BB gun... Very weird. I ended up walking away from this deal after all of this. I couldn't trust them after this. More

My experience, spent the whole day here did not care about the monthly payments cared about the integrity of the sales and leadership and to hope I could trust and not waste my time with car shopping ho about the monthly payments cared about the integrity of the sales and leadership and to hope I could trust and not waste my time with car shopping however I learned that always check your back end and sales price even after your trade on where you would like to be because the sales manager tried to pull a fast one and thought i would not realize but i did that i would still be financing at almost 18k on a car that ultimately is 16k so with that being said check all your numbers calculate your interest stick to your guns. Thankfully to also have family in the industry who did not let them inflate the numbers on me and told me to run 🏃♀️ i got all my answers cant trust this place. You should not either…i found it funny when the sales manager walked over and goes sorry we cant do the deal with my car keys no your sorry that i decided to get my stuff and walk out after my family call you out on your BLUFF sorry you lost a sale and no matter how much i need a car theres 10000X other dealers and dealerships i find it as a blessing i did not buy that car now. If you are looking at the 2021 nissan sentra do not let them over charge you, book value is only 16k your out the door price after adding interest will be more they will try to justify it but they will rob you of your trades and inflate your sales price behind the door. Shady car dealer its sad. Also before leaving offered to give my seat to two elderly was over hearing their conversations and they were basically trying to rob them of their trade as well telling them that their vehicle with 80k 2015 is not worth much basically taking advantage of them as well i hope its not your family because this place is crooked. I ultimately fell sorry for my sales person as he was visibly upset that my mom discovered their lies and to have their sales manager basically scheme under their noses 👃 cost them bills or food on the table.
