I'm so overwhelmed, I don't know where to start. The only time the word Subaru entered my mind was the Natalie Cole song about the pink cadillac!! I went in to look at a used car and not only bought one but bought a new Subaru. I've bought many cars over the years, same old games. It's one of those things I hate most. My husband and I had been looking at used cars all morning...drove 4or 5...very frustrating and dissappointing. We pulled into Mastro, really more for just a scan, not even planning to get out of the car. We were headed to Car Max. Diane was walking in the parking lot and we asked her if their were any used cars. She smiled and said yes. We parked, we got out, we looked at a 2002 Suzuki, she got the keys, we asked her to drive it. It was scary how well she knew this vehicle!!! I thought maybe it had been her personal vehicle and if you know her at all, you know that I'm not exagerating! I wanted it...it was perfect for my daughter and grandchildren. Well......while we were looking around I noticed the new Subaru Outback Sport!!!!Thought it was kinda nice..honestly..not even considering a new car. Afterall...we just bought a Tundra in Dec.08 and THEN in Feb. 09 I bouhgt myself a nice little red Tacoma..brand new. I put a deposit on the used car and went home. We were coming back Jan 2 to pick it up with my daughter and her family. I went home and I kept thinking about that little Outback. I told Diane I might test drive it when we came back and I kept remembering the look on her face when she said "Your gonna be surprised"! She wasn't kidding!! We came early to test drive the car. SHE drove first...My husband and I are in awe of her knowledge of all the cars at Mastro. I've never dealt with such knowledgeable people...EVER! I don't ever want to buy a car anywhere else again. It's so great that everyone seems to be on the same page here. There were no typical mistakes, misinterpretations, unkept promises etc.When we went to Nick Gildea I figured this was the end of it. I couldn't believe how smooth it all went. We were buying TWO cars and trading one in. That's one heck of a nightmare in a car dealership that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, and to make it even worse...we had TWO SMALL CHILDREN !!!! YES..a 3 y/o and a 7 y/o. We asked to see the manager ,John Fruhmorgen to tell him a thrilled we were with it all. He was very personable. My daughter and family are so thrilled with their vehicle and all I do is smile when I'm driving my new Outback Sport.I hope you can read this and appreciate what I'm saying. This is a good dealership with some really great people that work TOGETHER to make buying cars so pleasant. I haven't dealt with the service department yet, but I am hoping for the same. Diane is a very special person, I've never met anyone so knowledgeable, professional and personable. I am so glad I met her. She is truly an asset. Thank You so much, Deb Cecchi More
Diane is not only out-going and friendly but she is knowledgeable and and competent in her sales skills. She took us on an amazing test drive to show us how the Outback would perform! I bought a car online from this dealership and could not be happier with the purchase. My plan after locating the vehicle online was to catch an airline flight to FL to inspect the vehicle and if as describ be happier with the purchase. My plan after locating the vehicle online was to catch an airline flight to FL to inspect the vehicle and if as described purchase and drive back home but my sales person, MS Dianne Greenlaw, answered all my questions so well by phone I felt I could take a chance and have the vehicle shipped to me sight unseen which was actually cheaper than my traveling to pick up. I have to admit I was a little nervous doing this till the vehicle showed up exactly as described! This dealership operates in a straight-up, no B.S. fashion which is exactly what it take to sell me a car. I would recommend them and MS Greenlaw in particular without reservation and plan to shop for my next vehicle with them. More
Diane was very knowledgeable and gave us a great test drive. She was the best overall sales person we delt with since shopping the following brands: Volvo, Mercedes, Honda, Acura, Toyota, Cadilac, Buick, drive. Diane gave us information we needed without ever being pushy, or high pressure. She was a professional in every way. The service dept installed some add on items and they were supper nice. One error in installing the satalite radio caused me to have to drive one hour back to the dealer because my phone microphone did not work. This could have been corrected if the system had been tested. The people in the service dept have sense been super. They seem to really care about doing a great job. I like this dealership over all very much! More

I have been dealing with Mastro Subaru for over a year now. I purchased my 2009 Forester in October of 2008. Today I went in for my 15K service. I wanted to take the time to let everyone know that every interaction that I have had with this Dealership has been exceptional. Today was no different. I also had an incident in my Subaru that everyone needs to know. It happened March of 2009. My husband and I recently helped my mother-in-law move to IL. We drove two trucks and two vehicles, each with one driver. Somewhere north of GA, I had the opportunity to experience the VDC, vehicle dynamics control, at 75-80 MPG. During the demo in 2008, the speed was considerably less, but still the VDC was impressive. March of 2009 found me the last member of our caravan. We approached a section of road where there was merging traffic from both the left and the right. The vehicle to my left either did not see me or did not care that I was in the space I occupied. At the same time, there was a merging vehicle on my right. What happened next occurred in a split second as all traffic was moving very fast, at about 75-80 MPG. My reaction was to avoid both vehicles and I jerked the steering wheel. I felt the Subaru slightly shudder and shimmy, but maintain a safe course forward. Had I not had the VDC I am convinced that I would have overreacted or overcorrected and been part of a very serious accident. Thus far, I have been very happy with my purchase, and this incident sealed the deal with me. Back to the service. Just last week a neighbor of mine took his car (not purchased there) to the service department. His wife had purchased a Suzuki through the Mastro Dealership there, and they decided to have his car serviced there as well. He indicated that he was extremely impressed with the level of service and the professionalism demonstrated by the Service Department. My experience from the Sales to the Service has been exceptional. Jay and Jason are usually who I speak with and Di was my Salesperson. They are always courteous. I have also observed that the entire staff seems to be happy with their work environment and team members. That makes for a good place with which to deal. I can recommend Mastro with two thumbs up, AAA+ or 11 out of 10. In other words...just go there. More
Mastro Subaru is not my nearest Subaru Dealer. J went there at the ssuggestion of a friend. I am glad I did because it was a satisfyjng experience in all respects, both in the purchase of the new Sub there at the ssuggestion of a friend.
