Alan was our Salesman. He was friendly and patiently waited while I took a long time to look over the car. The car was priced right. Mark took care of the paperwork. Everything went smooth. We picked the car up at dark and noticed the headlights needed adjustment. Service Dept took care of that right away. Alan, Mark and the Service Dept working together was GREAT and made our car buying experience Pleasurable. Our Daughter loves her car. Shes Happy! Mom and Dad are Happy! We're all Happy Happy Happy. I came in to test drive and purchase a Subaru Outback or Crosstrek. I had quite a few questions about both models and I had been to several other dealerships already and was disappointed with the other's c Crosstrek. Everyone at Mastro was very friendly and patient right from the beginning of my day. Prior to arriving I had correspondence with Andrea, the internet manager, who gave me all the information I needed to bring in so that the process would go more smoothly. Francis met me at the dealership and took the day to let me test drive 3 cars until I found the one that I wanted to purchase. He answered all of my questions and assured me that the dealership would be able to accommodate my financing needs. This is the first car I have ever purchased, so I was unsure of the purchasing process/what I would be able to afford to finance. Francis introduced me to the entire team of employees, including the service department who I could come to if ever I needed to service the car. When it came time to complete all of my paperwork and signing, Mark was very helpful in explaining what each of the forms meant and their purpose. Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and helpful....they even bought me lunch! (I was there for about 5 hours in total.) I came in looking to buy a car, knowing that I wanted a Subaru, but not much else. I ended up spending a little more than I anticipated spending, but I feel strongly that my purchase and Mastro's commitment to maintenance on my purchase will make it well worth it. More
My son and I showed up one evening after the store was closed and Francis King let us in to see an Outback and Forrester. He graciously answered my questions, gave me brochures and a Subaru hat. I was so pleased by him that we did go back the next day. Francis directed Orlando Soto (Sales) to help us and everything could not have worked out better. Today, I am a proud Outback owner and very pleased by my experience at Mastro Imports. At my age, I am surprised to say that this was my first pain-free new car purchase. THANK YOU! More
I have purchased many vehicles in my life and I would have to say this was the best experience yet. Alan was wonderful, he went above and beyond to help us look and drive the car we wanted to. The exact car we wanted to drive was on display at Gander Mountain about 10 miles away. It was there as a promotional event. We went to the dealership expecting to get the run around or be told that we would have to come back later after they retrieved the car. When we inquired, Alan stepped right up and grab a similar model car and let us drive to Gander Mountain to get the one we wanted to drive. We had our 18mo with us and that was no problem either, as Alan helped us get the car seat mounted to both cars so our whole family could enjoy the test drive. There was zero pressure during the sale, and we were able to buy the car for what we wanted, they were great to work with. As a long time Volkswagen owner this was a hard decision to switch brands, but Alan and the group at Mastro really helped us truly find the right car for us. We would recommend anyone considering a Subaru to go here first. We had given all the local dealerships the same opportunity, but only Mastro followed up the quickest and were able to meet the price point we were looking for. Thanks again Alan! ~The Peels More
John Cheshire is a wonderful sales man. If you have never bought a Subaru or are a first time car buyer he is your go to man! Joe is a very friendly sales manager. He will deal with any customer concerns and keep his staff on their toes! The only reason why the customer service and overall experience are not a 5 are because the finance consultant Mark did not have good customer service skills! He was never honest with me about the finance percentage, never explained anything to me about why it was high, and never told me it was double of what I had been told originally! He did not even apologize about it later when I had to return to the dealership because he failed to have me sign some papers! Needless to say Subaru could do better than that. My suggestion, talk to John and Joe and they will help you out with anything you need! Tell them you don't want to work with Mark! More
Mastro Imports is the best dealership we have ever bought from. This was the 3rd car my family purchased from Mastro in the past 12 months (my wife has a 2012 Outback, my parents have a 2014 Forester, and I from. This was the 3rd car my family purchased from Mastro in the past 12 months (my wife has a 2012 Outback, my parents have a 2014 Forester, and I have a 2013 XV Crosstrek) and we can honestly say that we will never go to another dealership ever again. Mastro has the most friendly and outgoing sales staff as well as service staff of all the dealerships we've ever been to. To find a dealership where the customer is valued and respected "like the old days" is extremely hard to find but the family owned and operated Mastro Imports delivers where others fall short. No gimmicks or high pressure sales, just easy going and extremely helpful, the way it was meant to me. More
I have had a lot of service issues with this dealership the most recent being there telling me I needed to replace my a/c blower motor and resistor because they were " JUST WORN OUT FROM AGE"- THE PRICE $5 the most recent being there telling me I needed to replace my a/c blower motor and resistor because they were " JUST WORN OUT FROM AGE"- THE PRICE $599.95 and to make things worse they finally showed some concern for the water in the brake lights ( had this issue for over a year) but now I had to replace the lights for $499.00- amazing, and the light bulb was blown. They had my vehicle for over and hour and a half to replace an O2 sensor that failed the day after I got an oil change and that cost $189.95- they threw in the labor-hmmmmm- Don't believe they ever checked out why the a/c wasn't working when they had it in the bay- Took my car to a garage in Deland that my daughter uses where they found a blown cigarette fuse and subsequently, a drinking straw that stuck out into the motor from the glove box proved to be the only issues- duh!!!!!!!!!!! total cost $1.00 for fuse- a/c is better than ever very unsure about the work that I have had done here due to too many problems- More
